A.C's jumper is a dead ringer for Rose - but his free throw action is ugly, almost a Childress push. Was able to nail it in practice, but always seem to miss a couple during the game.

As for opposition - they still make open shots, and for me at least - get wide open underneath the basket.
Also, once they get it to a big man - automatic deux points :mad:
 
yeah i feel its tougher , well thats my excuse anyway lol, just lost a game i should have won against atlanta , played terrible think i might drop brooks to the bench and allow my rookie to get some more court time

My other 2 rookies are banned as well. My rookie centre is a dumbass - has no idea of positioning.
Tried a couple of minutes in coach mode in my first game - he jacked up a 3 :cry:

Wonder if the update affected the difficulty sliders for new season..? It's a reach but meh
 
Game 2 and knocked off the Bobcats. Good games from the usual suspects. My rook finished with 2 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks. He is never going to set the world on fire at the offensive end but he should be a solid contributor on D.

Good win against them, prob the best CPU team I've played
 
Took my 2nd game by 10. Lead by as much as 20. Pistons don't seem to be all that good though, so not a huge surprise. Fordham got his 1st court time. 5 points and a steal in 4mins. He jacked up 9 shots cause I was a little bored up 20 when he came on so I got Fordham happy...particularly after he buried his 1st shot, a triple. :lol:

Jeff Green went away over summer and took a BEAST training camp I think. This game he was 20/7/3 2 steals and a block, after his more than solid performance in the 1st game. He's like a Josh Smith type now it seems! And he's all mine :D Gay found the touch, 16/4/6 and 2 steals with 6/9 from the field, 4/4 from downtown.

Team feels good... not sure if I need to upgrade anything or not...Lopez will be back next game so I finally have a reserve C. Would be nice to get Fordham more time, but thems the breaks.
 
lol i carn't buy a win at the moment , won my first 82-80 over the nets but now have dropped to straight at home , atlanta by 2 and than i just got smashed by boston lol looks like its a different year for the bucks

Haven't got his shot down yet, so I can see how he'd be irritating. That said he is so versatile. He gets rebounds, steals, blocks and has the ratings to hit the open 3.

I'll keep him because he's not one of my top options. Dwight is my #1, Deron my #2 then probably Ray Ray at #3 then Wallace. If he was one of my main scorers I'd see the frustration though..

So when I logged on last night at the home page it listed 4-5 games I think. How long a period do we have to play them?

You'll see at the top Jimbo that it has the Date in large letters, and the progression time. Every time that counter gets to zero, the league progresses 1 day of the calendar, So, it's currently the 8th of Nov, and in 1.5 hours it will be the 9th. Every 3 hours, 1 calendar day is progressed. You have until the date the game is scheduled for to play that game. So if your available game is set for November 10th say, you have until that day is simmed...so it'd be 7 hours and 30mins from now (3 hours per day X2, + the remaining 1.5 hours of the 8th).

Game 4 @ Lakers

One again Orlando struggled shooting the ball, Curry in particular shooting a miserly 33%
Luckily the Orlando D was good again Beasley in particular who was charged with guarding DWade

Boys pulled through in the end to take the Magic to 3-1 on the season

Highlight: Beasley 20points Curry 24points

Game 5 v Nets

Started like a house on fire going on a 16 - 2 run first 4 mins of the 1st, thought to myself "game over" lol
Nets then went on to score the next 21 points haha and had them going in to half time with an 11 point lead

Curry again abysmal 1st half shooting display don't know what has happened

3qtr was pretty even, curry again wouldnt have been able to hit water from a boat

Going into the 4 the quarter down by 14 it was all or nothing, that man curry decided it was time he went 6 / 6 fromBehind the arc and led the magic to a 1 point victory

Also achieved a trophy "hold the fat lady"

Game 3

Man did Wom obliterate the Wolves roster...anywho...

Started slowly, was lucky to be up 2 after the 1st, Cousins having his way with the 6'6 Chuck Hayes. At the half after a much better defensive effort in the 2nd the Wiz lead by 8. The 3rd was another solid quarter with my shot finally dropping. Gay woke up and went into 3/4 time up 14. Came out in the 4th and Young hit 2 striahgt triples and it was all over. Ran out 26 point winners. Jeff Green continued along his merry way locking down the paint and dropping another 3/3 from downtown (after 3/4 last game). Gay was the leader with 18/4/2, 3 steals and a block. 5 players in double figures, and Fordham (my rookie) got 3mins for 2 points (off a huge dunk!) and an assist. Lopez had an amazing rebound in his debut off the bench...but unfortunately that's all he had :lol:
