PS3 NBA2K13 Online Association

On a bad note...I'm going to be away Monday-Wednesday for work...so any games in that stretch that I haven't managed to play beforehand (say Nov 18th - ~Dec 10th) will unfortunately be simmed...so Jimbo and EmVeeSpree we need to play today to guarantee we get the game played!
 
K logging in. Apologies to anyone if I don't get our games done before the deadline. Doing full-time work experience right now so despite my holidays I'm a bit short on time. And having not played much association at all I wouldn't mind getting a few more games in with the CPU as well.

Well our games due on December 10th...which is ~7am Thursday...so no biggie if we don't get it done today, but since I'll be away til Wednesday afternoon/night, we'd have to play it today or late-ish wednesday.
 
I don't understand the gameplay. I only scored 4 points in the 1st quarter and kept missing open jumpers. I had the shot-stick timing on and it was green for nearly every one. And they kept missing? Why?!

So strange. I rallied back but couldn't pull off the win, wanted to post up Dwight at the end for the last shot but he wasn't open so Ray launched a 3 that came up empty as the horn expired. Dropped it 54-53 and also had a sim loss to the CPU last night.

How do you score in this game? I'm shooting a lot of jumpers. They all just keep missing... Got a bit more in the lane this game and got some more free throws. I don't really understand how to play though..
 
lets us know when your keen for our game keefy , think you are the only game i have to play , bucks are struggling at 2-2 looks like it could be a tough year in Milwaukee

Will do my best Ben but can't guarantee we will get it done. I'll try and be as active as I can.

Played another CPU game just then. Can't remember which team it was. They had Nene and Richard Jefferson though.

Actually started hitting shots for once, which was nice. Deron finished with 25 points on about 50% shooting. Dwight another double double with 17 and 11. Won by 6 points, 72-66.
 
I'm going to remove Giddles next time i login. He msg'd me after the playoffs and said he did want to continue in the league but he did nothing in the offseason which has turned his team to crap. He has also had his first 3 games simmed.

When are we due? Might able to do tonight, but i'm going out in an hour and I don't know when i'll be back.

Working 2 afternoons and 2 nights this week starting tomorrow.

You think you're struggling? i'm 0-4 and going nowhere fast....

Game 4:

Absolutely pulverized the Celtics. Was up 29-19 at the half, but in the 3rd I broke out dropping 28 points to 12 to be up 57-31 at 3/4 time. Got out by as much as 34 before the coach decided my bench should get the rest of the time. Think I had 4 of my 6 turnovers in the last 4mins as they pulled it back to a final margin of 25 points. My D locked down their shooters and pummeled Lopez inside. My boys can flat out ball!

I think I softened em up for ya cause I lost to celtics earlier lol

yeah i got flogged by the celtics , i think i have a real gem in my rookie pg bevin weber , he is a friggin gun , brooks is now back up
 
I msg'd him and told it it was a fast moving active league and if he couldn't commit to that then maybe he could step down. Yes said he definetly wants to play....haven't seen him in-game since.
 
Game 5:

Just played out a TIGHT game with Utah! Thought I was coasting to a victory again in the 1st half. Was up 12 at 1/4 time, and then 18 at the half. But in the 3rd I went cold and they started to heat up and outscored me by 11 so I was up 7 at 3/4 time. Last quarter was close affair, got to 2 at one stage. Cousins though was a beast though and stabilized the ship to give me a 4 point hold on victory. Cousins had 18/7/2 to be POG. I shot it at only 46% as a team (sounds high, but pretty sure it's my 1st game below 50% lol) to their 53%. Was good to have a tight game :D

Well I'll have to have my game with EmVeeSpree simmed...I'm away until late Wednesday now. Managed to play all my other games though so as it stands the Wiz are at 5-0 :D I guess I'll find out in 3 days as to whether I'm 6-0 or 5-1. Jimbo and I will have a game scheduled for about 6 hours after I get back so hopefully we can get it done then!

Well only lost by 7, but now 0-6. Not looking good. Hopefully things change when I play against Steppy tomorrow - and it's just the CPU.
 
Lol tried to get my game done against OKC, league rolled over with 2mins left in the 4th
Haha gave me the sim win but so bloody annoying

Starting to get used to the rook Beasley, re thinking the comparison though not really a great shooter...yet

Anyone else notice the next draft is SF top heavy
 
Picked up a win against the CPU. That takes me to 3-3. I've won the 2 of the 3 games I've played. Other 3 have been all sim losses. I don't have the time to play any more than 50% of the games it seems, so I have to be satisfied not taking it too seriously.
