nasri getting some stick from some arsenal 'fans'. pretty harsh considering city look stronger and wenger hasnt done anything to really strengthen the squad. if he leaves, its the gunners own fault...

so arsenal did what was needed vs udinese. 1-0 up and no away goal. interesting to note nasri didnt make the team, which doesnt look good for his arsenal future...
eboue is off to turkey aswell.
keane deal done. he now plays in the USA. shame. one of the most prolific scorers the premiership has had...

Don't blame Keane though, he wasn't getting any burn for anyone. And he just made 9 million dollars!!!

nah, i dont blame him. hes gotta play someplace. just a shame an epl team didnt pick him up...or even the hammers again.
kranjcar to sunderland. quality player. should do well...

If it's on bbc it's generally a good indication....

City are done now....In my eyes they need no one else, especially if Clichy continues to play like he did the other day. I KNOW it's only Swansea but I thought he was excellent. Now get selling. Ade to Spurs on loan is also on bbc...

From Garry Cook - looks like Tevez will be here till at least Jan...

"He [Tevez] is still a Manchester City player and to see him playing alongside Aguero is going to be pretty exciting for all the City fans," Cook told BBC Radio Five Live.

When asked if he expects Tevez to stay until at least January, Cook added: "I've not spoken to anybody about anything that will dispel that notion."

apparantly nasri is in manchester now undergoing a medical. arsenal in BIG trouble if this goes through. even if they buy someone awesome. injuries plagueing them again. tough month coming up aswell...

How dumb are Arsenal. Seriously! Whoever was negotiating these deals should be shot.

Its been pretty clear to everyone that these two guys where going to leave for some time now and these muppets wait until the season starts to make a deal. Who is left to buy now to replace them? Everyone's team is set. Its nuts.

On another issue how long until Mourinho goes completely bonkers over trying to beat Barca.........

Arsenal's run by a group of tightasses who want to win the Premier League with a group of schoolboys. I actually like the way they play, reminds me of a poor man's Barca, but now they're just crap. Lost Eboue as well so it's GG and look forward to the next season for them.

/\/\theyre in trouble, but i wouldnt count them out. wengers track record in bringing in quality players speaks for itself. theres good replacements in the ranks if they can lift their games just a bit, but alot of it will come down to injuries. i cant think of a gooner that doesnt have chronic injury problems...?

I would have back wengers track record of bringing in players but who is going to sell to him with the season started. They should have done those deals weeks ago.

Good win by Tottenham in the Europa last night

these deals definately shouldve been sorted out ages ago. fabregas probably last season. teams would still sell to them tho. itll be interesting to see how they cope.
spurs did well. so did stoke.

Wowee. Poor old Arsenal. Poor old Wenger. Cesc gone. Eboue gone too. Nasri going. No money. Injuries and suspensions to Wilshere, Song, Gervinho, Traore, Rosicky, Gibbs, Djourou and Diaby. Looks like we've got no hope against Liverpool this weekend. I'm gonna pack back up and head bush. No point watching this season.

Hardly. I'm not going to rehash all the 'poor Arsenal' sentiment that's been posted over the last week. Time will tell if it was well directed or not. It all sounds very familiar to me though. Cesc will obviously be missed, but couldn't call him disloylal after staying at the club for 8 years. Can't say we won much with him in the team though.

Injuries and suspensions are bad early. Played very well in the first halves against Newcastle and Udinese, but fell away both times in the 2nd. Not to worry though. Hat-trick to RVP against the mickeys this week and we'll be back on our way ;)

Bit risky...how's the world economy getting on? Sharemarkets?? Then u float some of your club on it?? It's not without it's risks, that's all I'm saying.

I read another article saying it will be all underwritten, which means that the Glazers will get the money they want no matter what the market does. The real risk is going to the people who buy them. Not sure why you list the club in Singapore though?

Kewell to Victory for 3 years.

harry kewells career = officially dead. what a waste...
i thought this nasri deal was suppose to be done 'by tomorow'?
uefa looking further into city's sponsorship deal in regards to financial fair play. just read theyve lost about 100mill a year since 2008 not including this years record high loss...
