that's where he started out but he is getting older now and he may have family in that area of Germany so why not.

i see your point mate still think he could've at least made bayern munich i mean if he wasnt injured he was going to be the german captain so whats changed in the 4 weeks the world cup was on lost all his talent?

another bit of Transfer news.

A Kolarov (Lazio to Man City) £14.1 Million

Balotelli's future will be confirmed on Monday or Tuesday. Looks like he will be going to City. Is this guy going to place First Team football this year though? Tevez, Adebayor, Bellamy and Santa Cruz are in his way!

Honda shows interest in Milan
Maicon shows interest in Real
Ronaldinho says LA Galaxy is where he wants to be if not at Milan, but according to AC Milan they are going through a new contract deal.

And thats it for the morning..

He's 33 going on 34, plague with injuries and will probably retire soon (i'm sad to say it cos he's a great player)

And do you think Bayern would go for him, look at their midfield!!

Well with the Benetiz era gone now the problem still is the stooopid owners that Liverpool have, who have literally destroyed the club, the sooner these muppets sell the club & leave the better, LFC has gone backwards and will struggle to make the top 4 again especially if injuries hit key players there is no depth whats so ever, hopefully RH can bring the best out of everyone, with a paltry $15m to spend on players and whatever amount of money they give him from the players that get sold, he will have to work magic, the one plus so far is we have picked up Joe Cole & Milan Jovanović on free transfers also picking up young British talent Jonjo Shelvey & Danny Wilson and with Javier Mascherano looking like he will sign for Inter Milan that should bring in between $25-30m hopefully RH can spend ALL that money on few players...

nothing can be worse than to be owned by Americans (no offence at all but people like United's owners are d***heads.)

I've hated Ballack since he moved to Chelsea....

If Balotelli came to City he'd be 3rd cab off the rank. Bellamy is a winger so no worries there and Santa Cruz will probably be going out....if not he'll get injured soon!!

maicon to real madrid would be good for them however they already have ramos on the right? greedy much i would classify them to with miguel two be the top right backs in the world

Here we go guys, how about the best players per position. We'll go with a 4-4-2 (so GK, two CB, LB, RB, two CM, LM, RM and then two strikers.)

This how mine would look

Casillas
Evra Vidic Lahm Maicon
Messi Iniesta Xavi Ronaldo
Rooney Villa/Torres/Drogba

haha.. Interesting poll results so far! No votes for the Spurs! That team have some of the best youngsters in the comp without a doubt

There's a few probs with yr lineup there Warney. Lahm is about 5 9" and a fullback not a central defender. He is better than both Evra and Maicon IMO but there u go.
Also - u can't possibly think Rooney is the world's best striker?? Did u watch the world cup??? He missed some sitters! I'd have Villa in Ronaldo's position too.

Here's my lineup

Casillas
Lahm Vidic Motersaccer (the German dude!) Maicon
Messi Iniesta Schweinsteiger David Villa
Forlan Drogba

Always hard picking the strikers but I've gone the WC's best striker and Drogba who does a lot of tracking back as well.

As for Santa Cruz - u just hope he starts cos he's crap!!!:lol:

He's not in Ade's class

everyone has dud tournaments mate! Look at Torres for example.

You will find that Insua / Masherano will not be there, Torres is undecide if you believe the papers, losing Torres will gauarantee us struggling to make the top 4..

Reina
Johnson Skrtel Carragher Insua
Kuyt Aquilani Masherano J Cole
Torres Gerrard

i think they will be at Liverpool by seasons start.. if not who will replace them? Maxi Rodriguez, Riera, Lucas?

Torres was seen wearing a Liverpool scarf when Spain won the World cup. I don't believe he will leave such a great club.

Great to see Newcastle back!
