I guess that can be traced back a long way, I saw a young bloke ask wally for a autograph decades ago when he was in town as a paid guest speaker.
Signed for the kid but then dropped it on the ground instead of handing it back to him. Just plain arrogance and lowered my opinion of him for ever.
The alleged kick by Roberts was as much a kick as Wightons hit was a shoulder charge.
I don't disagree. Wighton's was a shoulder charge but so was Ennis. The NRL and the MRC handed Canberra their defence on a silver platter.
Let's hope he gets charged and see if he gets suspended like Kasiano did. He may not have opened Simpkins up but deliberately kicked at a player holding his leg.
If we are being consistent then it should have at least been a penalty like Graham last week.
In saying that it is James Roberts, can get in trouble on the drink twice in quick succession including Police charges and spitting at a barmaid without missing a game, great moral standards
Milf, Gillett and Oates came back over to the crowd too but they gave away packets of new socks bigger budget i guess.
In all fairness to the Broncos the respect they gave to the cowboys after last years GF was a pleasure to see. then hung around to the end of the presentation and did a lap of the ground thanking the crowd. Could have easily hung their heads and walk up the tunnel. Can't say the same for NSW after game 3 this year!

The biggest issue I have is with the NRL and their lack of consistency in so many areas. This really hurts a great game and takes away from what will be a cracking finals series
In all honesty, we have this disagreement about ref decisions every year and all through the year. Lets just all get on with it and enjoy the finals series regardless of what are considered as bad decisions. As for me I'm looking forward to watching two absolutely cracking games tonight. And no decisions that lead to claims of bias etc by the refs.
Bit different this time Wayne as I don't think there is any disagreement over last nights decisions. Everyone including plenty of broncos supporters are in agreement many of the calls were just wrong.
Given the number and magnitude of wrong calls its hard not to read more into it given the referees, touchies plus the bunker seem to be the only people in the country who missed what was happening.
