Why are you so negative against the Broncos all the time? If the Broncos lose then so be it as if the Cowboys or Storm win after that i would be still ok with the outcome. Of course i would like to see the Broncos win the GF more than anything but if they don't i dont mind both the Storm orthe Cows to go all the way. K

Raiders fans what's the report on Hodgson how bad is his injury? Can't see them getting through without him?

Both really good finals last night, tough and grinding.

Not sure on Hodgson, don't think it is a fracture as they were trying to get him back. Nothing worse than being taken down by friendly fire!

If he is out he is a huge loss but Baptiste is good cover and Austin should be back

With 10 weeks to go and 3 weeks of finals and GF to play...I don't think you can really absolutely discount any of the top 10, and even then down to 12.

Dragons, Warriors and Titans...they get the rub of the green, string together some confidence boosting wins, they could all be 5-8 on the table. With nothing to lose, they can go hell for leather. The Tigers are also very dangerous on their day.

Souths, Roosters, Manly and Knights, despite languishing, have all lost close games this year. Souths and Roosters still have the ability to be threats but unlikely. All 4 teams can be utter nuisance value taking valuable 2 points from any of the teams they face in the next 10 weeks. To say otherwise, is absolute folly.

For mine, its a totally open comp. I haven't looked at 10 weeks of match ups but let's face facts: one false start, one slip up, one crucial injury or suspension, one game where you don't respect your opponent might see you slip from 4-8 to 9-10.

It's a close, open, exciting comp. I'm as one eyed as the next person about Souths, and passionate. But NRL 2016 is incredible. Strap yourselves in. I'm expecting the unexpected.

Well...in the last ten weeks, we saw some key match ups where teams in the bottom 8 took on Top 4, top 8 and fringe teams. Some of those results certainly shaped the final ladder and/or prevented teams making the 8.

Roosters knock off Broncos, Cowboys, Saints.
Rabbitohs knock off Warriors, Sharks and Bulldogs, whilst almost beating Storm.
Manly knock off Saints, Warriors, Rabbits.
Tigers beat Cowboys and Warriors.
The Titans jagged their way in to the 8 too.

Even in the last few weeks, we've seen Cronulla splutter but last night beat a highly fancied Raiders outfit.

Furthermore, a flip of the coin game in Cowboys / Storm has repercussions as the Cowboys now face the Broncos at home, and the Raiders will have to take on today's Dogs/Panthers winner.

Still a lot left to do for those team involved, and I don't think you can safely say who will be the Premiers.

Getting Austin back will make a difference i thought Baptiste made a few decisions in that second half which cost tries. fingers crossed for the green machine that Hodgson will be right. Raiders v Panthers next week will pull a crowd at GIO!

K, I suppose it goes back to 1993 when the broncos were so up themselves it wasn't funny, you had the likes of alffie saying things like the dragons can't play football.

I really hope the Panthers get up today to exact revenge on losing earlier in the year to the Dogs on the siren! If they get through, next week at GIO calls for a road trip to Canberra me thinks!

Cant see either team beating Melbourne in Melbourne for a spot in the GF though!

Agreed, few of the Raiders boys made poor decisions in that second half, lacks of finals experience. Last nights hit out will be good for them, Hodgson is as tough as nails, he will be there

Yeah have to talk to channel 9 about the Friday night games. If they are going to pay $1 billion dollars for the TV rights they will pick what games they put on TV to sell to advertisers. Broncos rate well so they get put on TV.

Fair enough , yes they do rate well, but it's Friday night footy there arnt many teams that don't rate well ? There's 16 teams in the comp that's all I'm saying. Every other team is over it Aswel every week how many Sunday games do they play? It's good there's no more Monday night footy next year
