15-16 NBA Draft and Pre- Season discussion

One of the first things Mavs trainers/coaching staff get going with Deandre Jordan, was FT shooting. The big fella drops 1,000 FTs in a days training!

Two days later, he's hold up in his house refusing to take their phone calls.

Dude's a disgrace. It's fine to go back on your word, other players have done it before, but to NOT say anything, or be open about it, it's just BS. He's obviously not loyal, there's no loyalty to either Mavs or Clippers in this. Clip's were devo'd when he said he was heading to Dallas, and thus we are now he's turning back.

I wish him nothing but a season-ending injury on opening night, and an early retirement plan soon after.

I agree with you @WoobieZarz
That was really the wrong way to go about it. Really ruined his image as a player and stuck it bad to the mavs after chandler signed with suns.. Mavs are going to get in tank mode really didn't like the way it planned out for your mavs, at the same time Deandre just helped bostons chances on that top7 pick protected. sucks for mavs fans I feel for ya

Yeah look business is business as Chandler said, so him not sticking around for Dallas to decide his fat, he looked after himself, just like Farouq did, too.

Monta leaving was going to happen. Mavs would have only re-signed him AFTER they had locked up Deandre, and another PG - cos let's face it, Rondo was NEVER coming back, lol.

It's a shitty move from Jordan, but that's what happens in the NBA world when they have to wait to "agree". Until they make changes where you open up neg's and be able to accept/sign offers on Day 1, shit like this can/will happen.

Mavs are screwed this season, assuming they can't swing a deal with Pacers for Hibbert, OR throw enough money at Enes Kanter (ouch) to get him to join their squad, as OKC want him to stay.

He didn't even have the balls to accept a phone call or even make one, pretty piss poor, if the clippers wanted him so bad then why did they have to rush down at the last minute? And to not let anyone in to the house is total bs, is jordan that much of a air brain that they can't even let him talk to another person.

Best i've seen so far.

But in seriously how can a grown man call him self a professional by going back on his word. And if to honest i'm more disappointed in the clippers team for not even letting Mavs get in contact with DJ. Very poor on Clippers and DJ. Credibility is essentially shot to shit.

Those memes are hilarious.

I don't have as big a problem as some do about DeAndre going back on his "handshake" agreement, but of course, I'm not a Mavs fan. Everyone knows in sports it's about getting the signature. Add to it, that I never heard DeAndre say he was going to Dallas.
I thought he was crazy to leave LAC as CP3 has consistently made careers of offensive limited Cs in the past (Chandler and Okafor).

Your word really should be your bond, but everyone's seen Jerry Maguire:)

A shame for us Spurs fans that LAC are back in contention, I thought that would have been a nice weakness for them to have at that position.

Lol not sure. He might be insurance I guess if he stays. I think their bench certainly runs deeper now. I'd start Carroll and have Ross come off the bench.

Lowry / Joseph / Ridnour
DeRozan / Anderson
Carroll / Ross / Caboclo
Patterson / Scola / Jones
Valanciunas / Biyombo / Nogueria

Poor luke

@BobbyMarks42: With TOR signing Luis Scola. Good chance that Luke Ridnour will be released. Scola 3m salary should fit into Ridnours 2.75 salary.

WOW, so Lakers give up a future 2nd Round Draft Pick for Pacers' Roy Hibbert???

Did the Mavs even discuss trading for Hibbert? Lakers have about 6 big men, lol. SMH Mark Cuban!

Pacers were obviously desperate to offload his contract but for a future second rounder and still paying cash, ,,,, Bird has lost it! Especially when West is gone and Monta comes in, not to mention Scola and CJ outta there, guess it's rebuild through next draft too, lucky to make East finals this year :( feel for Monta, going to be a few years to build again,

The Hibbert deal was agreed to days ago, way before the DJ thing went down yesterday.

Lakers front line is Hibbert, Sacre & Black at C. Bass, Randle & Kelly at PF.

In the east you'll still be a playoff team, pending how PG has recovered.
