Yep Gordan & Smart are pushing for summer league mvp I think!

Now the dust is starting to settle from free agency, in the west I think Dallas and Portland drop out of playoffs. OKC obviously come back in, who takes the other spot?

Crazy comments underneath that article. It's like a Blowout thread.

Nice move by Bowen. I think we'll see more and more of this happening anyway as players have their numbers retired. Celtics and Lakers are filling up especially.

Ha! I didn't read the comments but wondered peoples thoughts on this. Was it un-cool of LA to ask? Should Bowen have said no? Should the Spurs have said no? Would LA have said "well if you don't give it to me I'm not coming"?

I kind of lean towards if it's retired, it's retired and unavailable.

All good.. :) word is nets want to keep joe Johnson now.. I hope the nets give us a top 5 pick in 16
I heard they still want to trade Johnson, if they trade him it drops them under the cap without using the stretch payout for williams, saving the owner around $40 million in taxes

I think the Spurs should have shown some respect and left it retired, mind you tjo why the hell did they even retire his number? He was a good defender and ok on offence but an average player overall. They will have to retire everyones number if he's the guide line.

Other than the Spurs, who else do you think significantly improved their team for this upcoming season?

I like what Boston did in getting D. Lee. If they can get Smart playing at the level they want him to they could make a move up the East.

Miami will be a lot better this season

Took the words right out of my mouth. Resign Wade and Dragic, brought in some depth for the bench and drafted well. Starting five of Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh and Whiteside. Off the bench you have Green, Stoudermire, Birdman, Napier and Winslow. That's not bad at all I reckon!

Pacers traded Rudez for Budinger with Wolves, I like this, like the Chase man, he works his butt off. Big improvers, Toronto, Miami, I think SA improve but losing some parts too. If the Cavs get Joe Johnson, depending on what they give up I think they win the finals next year, especially if Kyrie and Love stay healthy,
