Yep I'm hearing they want to change two of the terms of his contract and in doing so void the contract making him a free agent.
My understanding is clubs can not guarantee 3rd party sponsorship deals in anyway they are even forbidden from discussing these during negotiations (the keyword is 3rd party)
Shillington to GC Titans for 2016
He has been in solid form for Canberra, several 200m + running games recently. If he keeps this up he will be a good pick up. In saying that I hope they didn't pay overs, he is 31 and is currently the highest paid Raider.
Gives me optimism that Canberra might still jag Tamou for 2016 and beyond. Hopefully the rumours about Bird to Canberra are just that, he would be toxic for a club and culture that really seem to be building in the right direction.

I think Tamou was already contracted until 2016 but had inquired about an early release.
He wants to stay in NQ but his partner and son are living in Canberra I believe. I did hear that he told Paul Green he would see out his contract so who knows.
For Canberra to let Shillo go in his current form they must have someone lined up as they would be a bit light up front next year.

I thought so too but after that one massive NSW Cup game where he was dubbed 'the wrecking ball' he has been quiet. He is quite short and doesn't offer much at the line in way of footwork or ball skills. When he played for PNG v Fiji he got owned by the sprinkling of NRL level players in the Fiji pack. I hope he does well also and will be interested to see if he can step up to the next level, might be a massive loss to the Raiders
Mose is quality and yep the jury is out on the others, Mann might be interesting as we need CTW but with R Packer also likely to play next season it is all adding some much needed depth. As much as gorgeous George is a big personality he isn't really what you want as your back up FRF.
