All I can say is WOW... What an amazing experience.
Not many people get to say they ran their State of Origin team onto the field. It was one massive rush of pride, excitement and nervousness. Something I will never forget.

Just so @GiRDS isn't the only one out on a limb, I also agree that the Reynolds/Scott tackle was worthy of suspension.
There was a lot of big talk after McKinnon got hurt (and a lot of vitriol directed at the Storm organisation) and here was a perfect opportunity for the organising bodies to put their foot down, eliminate the grey areas and say enough is enough to dangerous lifting tackles. There was simply no disputing that Scott and Reynolds put Tate in an incredibly dangerous position.
After Faloon was let of for near spearing Chambers, the NRL said they were going to crackdown on lifting tackles.
It didn't last long. This is the third lifting charge downgraded this month.
Its a farce.
They seem to only care when the s--- hits the fan. Too late for the poor soul laid up in hospital indefinitely.

Faloon's was the tackle i would have taken to the judiciary with me, Yes they are SUPPOSEDLY trying to get rid of teh dangerous tackles, But you find that suspension only arises if the player grabs the opponent between the legs,
Neither player in the above tackle put a hand between the legs.
Yet had Tate have landed on his head, Suspension of 12 weeks would have been a minimum.

Consider this: if they'd rubbed Bird and Reynolds out for 6-8 weeks, it would have sent the shivers of shock through the NRL playing ranks that the NRL is serious about eradicating lifting tackles if they wipe out two stars from SoO.
Instead, all the post 'Rise for Alex' was lip service and the suspension of that Storm player an over reaction. Tate should now sue the NRL for a complete disregard of duty of care.

not great, didnt watch the whole game but it seems a bit risky. May prove to be an X factor there though but if GI is running at him it will be interesting to see how he goes in the front line defence
I reckon Hoppa will end up centre a Dugan on the wing.
Dugan big and much stronger under the high ball, Hoppa then not out of position so much.
It may depend on if Inglis is playing or not so we may not find out until early next week.
