COMC Mailbox Thread

How would you fill out the Beckett form for Marketplace purchases:

First Name COMC
Last Name Mailbox
Business name Blank
Address line 1 6727 185th Ave NE
Address line 2 c/o COMC USERNAME
City Redmond
State WA
Zip code 98052

Would probably work. As long as you get the most important information on there it should be fine.

Well, I asked COMC to process my first batch of cards from my mailbox on the one week service. 8 cards in total.
Requested it on Friday US time, completed on Monday US time. :D

Looks like I won't have to hassle you anymore Owen.

Haha - yep. That package would have cost graham $40 odd in delivery with Borderlinx. Also i feel a lot better about having COMC touching my cards instead of people at borderlinx..

I had (accidentally) a unopened box of cards sent to my COMC address. I must say the customer service guy I dealt with was really accommodating in helping me get the box sent on even thought they dont offer that as part of their service. (Hopefully you have it soon mattyeah)

Im not sure COMC realise just how much of an positive impact this will have on the hobby here. Its a game changer.

Yeah been dealing with COMC for a while now, never had a hassle, well packaged, fast and reliable.

The $8 is just processing fees to get them into my account. Haven't looked at shipping yet. But with all the savings on shipping to Australia from all those packages (including some free shipping and some that wouldn't ship to Australia) I'm already well ahead.
It's also great to know the cards are safe and secure and not be worried that they may never arrive, or be damaged. Im sure the guys who have used Borderlinx know what I mean.

Gotta admit $2.50 per card postage is so much better than $30 when looking at ebay auctions.

G, do you estimate around $25 for your comc cards to be dlvd?

I just went through the process, and my 8 items plus one other card in my mailbox was quoted as this for shipping

Packaging & Shipping cost: $11.00

That includes the one card I posted earlier that's a jumbo graded card.

The other option is even cheaper if you're not in a rush.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
You can just let them go into COMC vault until you do a bulk shipment from them (including purchases off the site) which usually cost $3-$5 for the cheapest option.
Did I read that right?

You don't get the cheap flat rate shipping rate if the shipment includes any items from the COMC mailbox.

Mine might be high due to the weight /size of graded cards. Would be interested to know the cost for regular cards.

Keep an eye on out today for a special comp to win $10 credit in your COMC account (thanks to COMC and Ozcardtrader). We'll have 10 prizes to give away. I'll post the link here when it's up.

I really hope they work out processing fees for other collectables and even boxes of cards maybe.... then it will be perfect... Had to let a topps authenticated Deacon Jones mini helmet pass the other day as I was unsure of what would happen once it hit my mailbox

It will be interesting to hear what the shipping options/prices are.

If anyone else has info on this can you please post it.

I have just requested 5 cards be sent to me. Cost me $4.25 in postage + the $5 processing fee.

Very happy.

Sweet! Ive taken the plunge and sent about 5 or 6 single card auction wins to COMC rather than Borderlinx. I assume once the first item arrives they notify you of the creation of the mailbox and the option of how frequently to open all of your packages?
This,as has been said is a potential gamechanger. Once Ive had all exisiting items shipped to borderlinx, that may be the last time I use them!

Look forward to hearing other peoples feedback once their mailboxes start getting use
