COMC Mailbox Thread

Just a quick question, what happens if your COMC account has no credit in it when they recieve your cards from eBay?

Doesnt matter man, the mailbox is seperate to your account untill the cards are processed.

I didnt have credit in mine, waited 2 more weeks for other cards to show up. Then asked for them to be processed into my comc account, then added credit.

They "hold" the mailbox open for upto a month then they process the cards into your account. Thats when you need credit.

You can also choose to have them processed earlier than one month if all the cards you have purchased (ebay) have arrived.

Does that cover it jimmy?

Has anyone else encountered multiple package arriving on the same day but only have some of them processed ?

I have a order that was deliverd first thing Monday morning u.s time that hasn't been processed yet while stuff that's arrived later has already been confirmed by them .

Have you tried updating Ebay with the COMC address and then checking out through Ebay. Doing that will pass the COMC address from eBay to Paypal and the seller will receive the COMC address in Paypal and should then ship to that address no problems.

Perhaps a silly question, but I assume reading this that there is no need to set up a secondary eBay account, just change the shipping address to the COMC US address? So does that mean that 'US only' auctions block us using the postal address, not the registration address? And that the check is made at the time of the bid (and when paying for the item)?

Spot on. I tried doing a BIN on an auction and it said "Seller does not ship to your location"

I then changed my primary shipping address in eBay to my COMC Mailbox address and was able to bid on the auction no problems.

ok time for a question from me (hopefully Jeremy sees it)

So this is the first email i got after i asked for all my cards to be processed (1 week)

We received your package with tracking number 'Mailbox 35'. This batch has an ESTIMATED quantity of 18 items and was given Batch *********. The items are being processed by our Mailbox - One Week service, and we plan to have them added to your account by July 25.

$6.30 of your funds have been reserved for processing this batch of items.
Your account now has a store credit balance of $46.12.

Today i receive an email saying this

We finished processing your shipment of 18 items, Batch #*******. 0 items are being returned, and 18 items have been added to your account. $12.50 of your store credit was used to cover the processing fee.

Your account now has $39.92 of store credit.

Now im not sure what the charges are but $0.50/card would = $9 since i had 18 cards processed.

$12.50-$9.00
= 3.50 <----- is that charge for the one week turn around?

Im not fussed by it at all but i was curious as to where it came from.

I may be being picky, but would it be possible for you guys to put a very small run-down on what charges people have incurred in the emails you send out?

Overall im still incredibly happy with the service, but as it is new i thought you guys might like some feedback.

im ok with showing what i got, but more for the reason of showing everyone else the receipt you get from COMC

Absolutely Brilliant

Were any of these patch cards or super thick cards ?

Their processing fees are here :

http://www.comc.com/fees.aspx

For standard cards

It's 50c per card for standard cards for 1 week processing
$2 per card for standard cards for 1 day processing

For oversized cards (e.g. graded, encased, jumbo, or extra-thick trading cards as well as sports poker chips, coins, or pins)

It's $2 per card for 1 week processing
$3 per card for 1 day processing

yeah sorry Graham, i was guilty of that. :red:

So they will obviously be getting the redeemed cards sent to COMC's address.
I find it a bit puzzling as i didn't ask for them to be redeemed and i dont think people would be happy to pay more shipping fees.
What if the card doesnt get made, comc get an email from panini then they forward it to me, i ask for a replacement, comc emails panini and so on.

Im not pissed about it, but im hoping Jeremy and the COMC team pull something out of the hat on this one.

I mean the redemption's (some) of may have been think, but nothing crazy.
No slabbed or graded either mate.

I dunno???????

Just wondering how i go about starting my own mailbox with comc? A quick overview of how to get started and link it with ebay would be greatly appreciated

I could be wrong but u need to do nothing other change yr primary eBay address to the mailbox address c/o yr comc username.

I hope that's right as that's all I have done, then when they receive anything they then open a mailbox for u
