Al Box Breaks Group

Agreed, dont think one Luck, RGIII or Wilson auto was pulled

No they didn't. I'm not sure about the Luck and RG3, but so far Panini has said the Wilson Variation Auto is SP to just 25 and both the RG3 and Luck Rookie Ink versions are also SP just 25 (all the other guys are to 75).

Take out the Romo Golden Ticket for a minute....... if you had saved up your hard earned or sold some nice high end to fund that case, you'd seriously be questioning continuing with the hobby (If ya didnt neck yourself first)

There looks like a heap of junk in the product - worse than Certified

$30 case break shares are fun, but I think it's singles and the odd case share for me with boxes confined to Black Friday and maybe the odd one or two if the itch gets too bad.... Are Panini seeing how little value they can put in product that ppl still will buy in mass???

Good point. To be honest I don't buy a lot of boxes because the guys I collect I can normally pick up on ebay pretty cheap and I hate selling stuff on ebay so landing a big Luck or RG3 auto, well this would be very cool, it probably wouldn't fuss me as much as say landing a Streater auto like that Playoff Ticket.

Also, remember with Contenders there are a lot of SP's and Panini has not yet released who they all are yet. But guys who you would otherwise may think as scrubs like Michael Smith for the Bucs (limited to 99 for the standard and 25 to the Variation version), George Iloka (limited to 25 for Variation) and Riley Reiff (limited to 25 for Variation version) could bring in a lot more dollars than first realised (can't remeber seeing any of these guys in the break but there are plenty more!). Also Contenders Auto RC's always sell quite well (often are sought after RC's when a random guy bursts into the scene in a couple seasons) and if you look at ebay some real random guys are selling really really well.

With the 6 autos per box, I think you would find that you would probably get better resale value from a box of Contenders than many other releases, like Chrome for example that only has one auto!

Too many sicker auto's in this lot... I like boxes at the RIGHT price for 2 reason's 1) The thrill of the big hit and 2) Bustin with my son.... However, when something is $140 a box, I'd rather buy the "big hit".... $50-$80 per box if I like the product is good enough for me

I'm too scared to watch the full thing to see what I didn't get :/

Does Al do a case recap??? dont know if I can be bother watching an hour of Prizm?

Who did you have? Bills? I only recall 1 auto bu I wasnt really payin a lot of attention to non-charger/household names

There are a lot of sticker autos, but I guess for Panini it was a catch 22: sticker autos or lots of redemptions! I guess they went with what they thought was the less worser of the two. Some of that blame has to fall on the players too for not fulfilling their part of their agreement and getting their cards signed in time. It must suck signing thousands of autos though!! But really sticker autos don't bother me too much.

What I don't understand though is that I have a Streater Black auto in for redemption that has not yet been fulfilled from when Black first came out. Yet he has now featured in Crown, Prizim and Contenders all released after Black!

Also I agree with your point about buying some hits and a cheaper box. Instead of buying a box of Contenders for $150, I could buy me a Streater 1/1 plate and a cheaper box like Gridiron (which I love the set of) and be a lot more happier!

You got the Plate  Nice work

Think I'm gonna chase the chargers cracked Ice if the prices are reasonable

Missed out on the Streater Cracked Ice. Well when I say missed out, I decided against it when the bidding went above what I paid for the 1/1 plate! As nice as they are, the Cracked Ice ended up nearly 1.5 times what I paid for the plate. I would rather focus on the other plate that I may not see again for now. No doubt another Cracked Ice will turn up at some stage.

Yup, I hate overpaying... even for PC, happy to go a cpl of dollars over but not 1.5x what a 1/1 is from the same release, that's just crazy!
