NRL Finals & End Of Season Thread

How much doubt is relied on in a 'benefit of the doubt try'. 50/50 70/30 or 99/01 like last night.

The refs calls finally killed off a team in the finals

Possibly the worst call I have ever seen in a league game and to have it in a finals is just ridiculous.
Really feel for the Cowboys and their fans after that one and I hate the Cowboys.

I'll tell you now, if Souths go down because of sh!tty calls like that i'll be molotov'ing the refs headquarters come sunday!

Old Billy will have to say that his ref's were right, cause this is the semis and there is no 2nd chance for the sides dudded by these F'in clowns, Think ill sign up for GWS next year.

When is too much bullshit, regarded as match fixing?

If jockeys can go to jail then these idiots should too. To me there was enough evidence last night to see somethink was going on

And im serious

Yeah, the third try had a double movement AND a knock on with a shitty put down and it gets awarded. People might be thinking ok that is a bad decision but we'll let it go. Fourth try has a blatant knock on from Foran, not just a little touch, he pretty much batted it forward. As with much of the other refereeing this year, when you have everyone else but the referees seeing it completely differently it is hard not to think something fishy is up. It just can't be justified at all, they were such easy decisions to make and the video referee has blatantly gone against any common sense. Someone is seriously wrong when the public knows the rules better than the referees. It is really ruining the game and something drastic has to be done to change it.

I hope the Refs don't bring that shit south next week i couldnt stand losing to Manly that way,
Im hoping for a Storm v Bunnies Final, Got my GF tickets  and the Cartel ready, the Mexicans are coming:D

Billy Hollywood harrigan admits refs got it wrong last night.

Thanks scoop!!!

If thats the case, do you think the investors and sponsors of North Qld Cowboys have a civil case in court against the NRL. I would be fairly upset if my Millions of dollars invested in the clubs success was prematurely ended by incompetence. To have your name on the front of a jersey on Grandfinal day is the ultimate advertising payday. Now these sponsors don't get that chance through no fault of anyones at the Cowboys.

Ah well Raiders season is over, quite a good season really with their injuries and everyone tipping them for the spoon. The raiders were well below their best, too many erros and never really got into the game. Souths were clearly the dominant team but if they play like that against any of the other three remaining teams they might not do so well!

Sam Williams was great again tonight and creates a bit of a problem for season 2013, what to do with Campese? Surely they can't drop Williams.

Williams definitely your best tonight. Good halves combo and young too. Run Campo at lock, move fensom to second row but have him defend in the middle. Let Campo play a roving role in attack. Could work?

Sell campo to the roosters, He is injury prone, and will be taking the position of a young up and comer. Roosters sign anyone and everyone

I agree on Williams, easily the Raiders best on Saturday night.

IMO, moving Campo and Fensom around is weakening 3 positions while strengthing none as you'd have to move either Thompson or Papalii as well. I reckon Campo 5/8, Fensom lock, McCrone either hooker or supersub. McCrone played that role for Country this year and did well there.
