Go LA!!!
I'm pretty happy with the Heat's and Laker's off season moves and it will surely make me feel like they are the team to beat in their own conferences.Let's make our team look even more like a retirment village

Adrian Wojnarowski: Rockets remain strongly engaged w/ Orlando in direct talks for Dwight Howard, sources tell Y! They've spent little time on 3-way scenarios. Twitter
Have not really been keeping up with this thread.
Any news on Michael Beasley?
He signed with the Suns.

Maybe because I'm of a similar age....but I reckon the league is starting to resemble a retirement village....I can't remember a time when the league had so many players over 35.
According to this list on Wiki, last season there were 25 active players over the age of 35. It says 2 things to me....obviously most of them are very good players (or fill a role well) and the quality of what's coming through isn't that strong to be able to push these guys out.

Marc Stein: If Hornets match PHX offer sheet to Eric Gordon, as they've vowed, desert sources say this is definite: OJ Mayo will be courted hard by Suns Twitter
I would love to see him go to the Lakers or the Heat!
And there is still a chance for Dwight to join the Lakers.
Phoenix and Chicago remain in the mix for free-agent shooting guard Michael Redd. Suns will have continued interest if Hornets, as expected, match Eric Gordon offer sheet. Bulls let go of swingman Ronnie Brewer and now will make decision by Sunday on whether to keep shooter Kyle Korver. Redd could end up as a cheaper alternative. Sulia
The Knicks will officially match Jeremy Lin’s $28.8 million offer sheet from the Rockets as soon as today, when the NBA moratorium ends, thereby keeping the author of Linsanity at the Garden for at least the next three seasons. The Knicks have 72 hours to match, but likely will take care of it today unless they get bogged down in the massive paperwork from all the other moves they officially can execute. New York Post
Heat lands another
That means the Heat have now had the two most overpaid players of all time.
Rashard and Juwan Howard.
