Official 2012-13 Offseason thread - trades, rumours, etc

Grant Hill

Reports Tuesday indicated that Hill has decided either to play for the Lakers or retire. But the source strongly indicated that Hill has not limited himself to Los Angeles as he makes up his mind. The Lakers emerged as a strong favorite for Hill after they agreed to terms with the Suns last week on a sign-and-trade deal that will send Steve Nash to the Lakers after the end of the July Moratorium on the 11th for four Draft picks and $3 million. But Hill is looking at the Heat and Thunder as well. NBA.com

Really good to see TD sign on. I was shocked to see a 3yr deal made, I didnt think he'd have it left in him. Hope he plays them out and then retires gracefully. He's had one hell of a career!!

I've never really considered Griffin a $100m guy, but I guess he's starting to prove it with his offensive game picking up. Outside the paint tho, if he can lock down that 15-footer, he'll keep defenders honest!!

Knicks have had to keep up with the Heat and Nets. They need to fill out their roster same as the others have, probably more so with MIA, how many All-Stars have they got now?

Shattered that Lou Williams went with ATL. Probably means Harris or Teague might be shopped then? Or one of them switched to SG? Bring Harris back to Big D Cuban!!! lol.

lou williams to the hawks is a nice pick up for them...

dorell wright trade to 76ers is an interesting one... philly has changed the team around dramatically since last season - signed nick young & traded for dorell wright, gotten rid of lou williams & elton brand... not real game changers though...

Source: Hornets not scared off by Gordon's comments, will match Suns' 4-year, $58million offer and plan to keep him. No S&T.

So when can FA officially sign? I really want Dwight at the Nets. Would be a great combo Dwill and Dwight.

Now, its already started!
