I,m no expert on these tracking numbers, but dont they only show up when item arrives in your post office, I know all mine do, I believe some of them are limited to how many times you can attempt to access them also. correct me if I am wrong

You're right that many are very slow to update and only update at certain points including the start and end point. But its irelevent. The seller needs to prove that it was received (signature) not just sent. Producing a valid tracking number means squat. If he really sent it then it got lost. If its registered then Auspost know at what point it got lost. If it wasn't registered then its anyones guess. He will lose paypal claim 100%.

If you receive ANYTHING other then exactly what you paid for, even partially, lodge as item not as described with paypal......

This is his update on paypal

"will fax thru proof of sending to paypal. regpost number RD28318961. oh by the way..why dont you make your threats to me here on paypal???"

I bet you he has sent JUST one set and because it is registered can prove you got it.
This doesn't account for the second set so I would film it for sure AND leave a Negative Feedback if you get ripped!

You should have ALREADY put the claim in when we told you days ago mate :(

This is true! It depends if the Post Office register it when it is first handed in (Mine does this).

I have bought some packs of Ultra pro sleeves from him a couple of times so not much spent in terms of $$$ but no probs so far. After reading this though I would be hesitant to go through him again. Besides, now that I have met Terry at A1 Cards in Gosnells, I would rather buy from him - Top bloke ( Terry - If you read this, enjoy the free plug!! LOL )

i have put the claim in, i lodged my issue with Paypal and he has right of reply, which he has done now, it then goes to a monkey who is eating peanuts and he will make a decision....

Thats why i always make sure mine are scanned when i pay for them.... i actually questioned them on why they are not always scanned, and was told it is NOT BEST PRACTICE to scan them from the outgoing location and that you had to request it!! Sounds ridiculous to me!!

that's not correct, it has to be scanned at point of sale full stop, that's what acivates it into the system.
after that all registered mail just goes through the same system as other mail, until the postie delivers, then he scans again.
that's it, 2 scans.

he's just around the corner from me, want me to throw a brick through his window?

Well that what you would think!! I did tell them i thought that was ridiculous and what is the point of registering it exactly if you dont even know if its been sent!!! She answered with $100 insurance... wasnt gunna argue with her.

Should be = Yes
Has to = No

I have found you do need to ask.....some (like my local PO) do it automaticly but others (read most) don't!
