You're right that many are very slow to update and only update at certain points including the start and end point. But its irelevent. The seller needs to prove that it was received (signature) not just sent. Producing a valid tracking number means squat. If he really sent it then it got lost. If its registered then Auspost know at what point it got lost. If it wasn't registered then its anyones guess. He will lose paypal claim 100%.

This doesn't account for the second set so I would film it for sure AND leave a Negative Feedback if you get ripped!

This is true! It depends if the Post Office register it when it is first handed in (Mine does this).

I have bought some packs of Ultra pro sleeves from him a couple of times so not much spent in terms of $$$ but no probs so far. After reading this though I would be hesitant to go through him again. Besides, now that I have met Terry at A1 Cards in Gosnells, I would rather buy from him - Top bloke ( Terry - If you read this, enjoy the free plug!! LOL )

i have put the claim in, i lodged my issue with Paypal and he has right of reply, which he has done now, it then goes to a monkey who is eating peanuts and he will make a decision....

Thats why i always make sure mine are scanned when i pay for them.... i actually questioned them on why they are not always scanned, and was told it is NOT BEST PRACTICE to scan them from the outgoing location and that you had to request it!! Sounds ridiculous to me!!
that's not correct, it has to be scanned at point of sale full stop, that's what acivates it into the system.
after that all registered mail just goes through the same system as other mail, until the postie delivers, then he scans again.
that's it, 2 scans.
