Thanks for checking that out man. No FA sucks a little but at least we'll be able to trade if we're not happy with the line-up. I'm really not fussed with who I get, just looking forward to who I get stuck with.

An update on the numbers; We've got 11 definites. I'm sending one last lot of PM's to the last 5 guys yet to respond. Has anyone got one more they can bring in?

5 messages fired off. Everyone happy to wait for one more or you want to roll with 10? Problem is, I don't know how to tell 1 of the guys that have said yes that their spot has gone.

Ducky bought one in, surely one of you other guys have another Aus player in your contacts? Maybe ducky's mate has one? I'm gonna try two other forums and see if there's any luck there. I'll only stress that we need 1 more but if by luck we got another 3 hands up then we could stretch it to 14. I'll focus on 1 for now.

I'll be online the next 2 hours, anyone want a game with the current All NBA teams?

I've left a message on my Live League forum to see if there's any interest.

Also just added another 11 Aus players from xboxworld.com.au

I've sent them all the details and info and said we're basically looking to fill 12 to 16 spots. Everyone happy to wait another few days? We have to fill at least 12 either way.

If everyone's happy with the numbers I can start it right now. Will take a day or two for everyone to join, another day to sim the draft and then it would be ideal to kick each round off starting with the first on a monday or saturday.

If everyone is happy to wait, I think we should start the process this wednesday, give it a few more days to get some more numbers, give it a little time for everyone to join, run the draft and then hopefully be playing games by saturday, monday at the latest.

I'd like to know what everyone else thinks. If you're all egar to start it we can start it right now. I'd rather wait a few more days personally.

Steveo you've done an excellent job dude!!!

Kick it off whenever you can, and shoot round the invites, then we'll all try and join as soon as we can.

12 teams is def. better than 10 or 8. This way 4 teams will lose out, and you're actually fighting for position.

I've got a yes from another one of the people I added yesterday. I'll give it exactly 26 hours to see if there's one more interested to make an even 14 and if not I'll set it up for 12 and shoot the first round of invites to you guys so you can pick your teams.

Check back between 6pm and 8pm tomorrow night (or as soon as you can), once all of you are locked in I'll send off the remaining invites.

Looks like we're about ready to roll.

Hey guys, just went to set it up now, looks like there's a bit of a hiccup.

The only options I've got for setting up rounds is choosing the length of a round with the maximum number of days being 7 and the minimum 1. So that means in a 7 day round everyone would have 5 games scheduled. Would be the same if I set it up for 1 day, would mean you'd have to play 5 games a day which is a bit stupid. Sucks because the options are so limited.

Obviously everyone can't play 5 games a week so not sure where we go from here. Scotty suggested just running another tournament, what do you guys think?

I'm looking for some answers online right now but I'm pretty sure these are the settings we're limited to.

After messing around with the settings in the test league, it seems as though round 1 will not advance into round 2 until I actually activate round 2. This would mean if you didn't have a game played in round 1 and it's time to move into round 2 then I would have to determine the winner.

So in conclusion, even though each round consists of 5 games per team within a 7 day span it doesn't have to be that way. I guess we just run each round from a monday and then monday week (each fortnight) I'll advance to the next round.

That would mean everyone has the responsibility of staying on top of their games and who they have to play. If you have trouble organising a game with someone and you're not getting much cooperation, you have to let me know as someone must be the winner in every unplayed game.

I'll wait until I get some more info from the 2K Forum but it looks like we're still good to go.

Oh - one last thing. Looks like we've got 14!

Oh and I still have no news from the 2k forums. I'll set it all up tonight either way and send the first round of invites to all OZCT members first. Will give you guys 24 hours to select your teams and then I'll fire off the rest of the iinvites. Will bump this thread as soon as they're sent.

For guys that don't know, to join the league you will need to load up 2k9, from the main menu select Xbox Live, from there go to leagues and then check your invites. Please select your teams asap and don't alter your choice if it's going to clash with someone else's preference.

There is an option for two admin but it's only an option once the schedule has been activated. As soon as we're at that stage I'll mark Scotty down and any questions or problems can be run through both of us.

We should be hooping it up by monday if all goes smooth from here.

Actually played me some GTA IV online last night, that was freakin hillarious, but that's another thread.

I was thinking about this last night, and wondered about the rounds, if we need to activate the next round before the games can start. So that would mean 1 game every 2 days (5 games a round).

Being there's 14 teams, will those numbers increase?

Looks like we're gonna have a few more 2K buddies added to our online buddies...

Not sure mate, I'll check it later when I get a chance. I didn't get to create the league until around 11:45pm so if it was well before that and my last post, I'd say you joined the old one I tried to start up a few months ago.

I've deleted that one since to avoid confusion, sorry about that. You guys still got plenty of time - I won't send the next round off until 12am tonight. That way we've got 48 hours for the other 8 to join and run the draft.

In a perfect world we'll be playing league games this monday.
