Xbox 360 - 2K9 2nd Tournament Prep Thread

Just a reminder guys to log into 2k9 and join up if you haven't. Haven't checked just yet to see who has and hasn't, you still got time but we need to get to the next stage of filling it up before saturday night/sunday morning so I've got 24 hours to schedule the draft before the OZ2KL season 1 kicks off on monday. :v:
I'll be away from tomorrow morning through until sunday morning but I'll have my laptop with me and should be online at times so if there's any trouble just let me know.

I've just sent out invites to the remaining 7 and we've got 1 on the waiting list if someone doesn't join.
Ducky, I can't invite your mate because he's never logged in through 2k9. Get him to go online and play a quick game with someone and then I should be able to invite him. Let me know as soon as you get that sorted. Thanks mate.

That will work for us then. I guess if someone were to look up the league through 2k9 or the 2k9 forums, then they could manually join if they had the password. Like I said before, I'll be gone until sunday so I guess this is the only way Ducky's mate can join in the meantime since I can't fire off an invite. As long as someone runs him through how to join and what the password is we should be all good. :v:
Here's the addy incase there's a way to join online. There's no 'join up' link showing but that's probably because i'm in it and logged in...

Oh and I got my account linked through the 2K site finally. Must have been a bug in the system cause it worked fine all of a sudden. If you guys haven't, might pay to get onto that.
[EDIT] Actually it's making a liar out of me now. Will post as soon as I've worked it out.
Yeah I'm not sure what the go is, It says my gamertag under my avatar. I guess I won''t know until the league kicks off with everyone joined, if more options become available I guess it's linked.

We're still waiting on 3 people to join, I've sent out invites and also sent an invite out to one guy that was waiting. Hopefully we'll have this filled very soon and I'll let you all know as soon as it is.

Do you know if we can make pre-draft picks (preference picks if you would) for this simmed draft?
There's a couple of players I'd particularly like who would normally be left out/very late.
No stress if we're unable to. I'm happy to run with who I end up with.

We can do that mate. Once the draft has been scheduled I'll let you guys know. I think you just check the box next to the players you want and then I guess it picks them based on the best option at the time. I'll schedule it for a convenient time so anyone who wants can try and get their picks live. Otherwise just put your preferences in beforehand.
I'm easy - if people want to pick their players that's all good, if people want the luck of the draw then that's all good too. We'll just leave it to personal preference.

I went to check last night but as some of you guys already know, xbox live was down 24 hours for maintenance.
I just checked now and we're still on 12 of 14 joined with 3 guys left to join and fill the last two spots. This makes me think they either haven't got the PM's through xbox or they're just not interested anymore.
If it's still the same tomorrow, I'll send another round of PM's to the 12 odd that never got back to me. I'm confident this will be filled before sunday and we can kick the round off on the next monday the way it was planned. Don't hold me to it but I'll try my best. :v:
