Wrestling

the NWO card looks pretty decent currently i might even end up ordering it:

World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber Match (Kane/Kofi Kingston/Mike Knox/Mysterio/Jericho/Cena)
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match (Undertaker/HHH/Jeff Hardy/Big Show/Vladimir Kozlov/Edge)
Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon (No Holds Barred Match)
Shawn Michaels vs. JBL
ECW Champion Jack Swagger (who the hell is this guy and why is he ECW champion) vs. Finlay

Is that 2 titles in the EC?? Same time, or separate? We all know how the guys love to smash them up, broken chains, and chambers...

I thought we'd get to see a Orton & Shane-O match, just thought it would be Last Man Standing or I Quit Match...

Jack Swagger is pretty cool, he could be the next Brock Lesnar, just without the muscles. The guy can wrestle, and has some great moves.

Can't wait for this PPV, only a few days away!!!

the two EC are seperate i think thats the theme around NWO now which is pretty cool.

Yeah steiner is part of the Main Event Mafia with Booker T, Angle, Sting and Nash i think they are pretty awsesome.

Yeah i had that book was a great read! He truely is a legend a future HOFer the stuff he has done to himself for this industry is amazing.

Yeah russo was well pissed lol but the amount of politics that were backstage in WCW for so long it was just a matter of time and it was a great moment, mainly cause booker T ended up becoming champion!

Russo is such a hard one to categorize, given that he was a part of the success WWE had in that 97-98 attitude era, but then booked some amazingly poor stuff as part of WCW. How many "...on a pole" matches did he book. Now in TNA, the good is mixed with the bad, and sometimes the very, very ugly.

I understand that in WCW he didn't have the leeway to do what he wanted in lieu of Time/Warner's 'Standards and Practices' department, but surely having Buff Bagwell's mother wrestle, and hold a title wasn't the best idea.

It's strange that his desire to put the belt on Tank Abbott was the straw that broke the camel's back there. I think that was one thing that wasn't all that bad. David Arquette, and himself as world champion, however...

Yeah some of the stuff during the attitude era he wrote was great. Come WCW he crashed and burned terribly. Did tank abbot end up holding a title? i certainly hope not, i used to love tank in UFC then i saw him come out on wcw with his nipples cut out of a top, i promptly switched the television off.

Looks like an Orton/Triple H feud is coming. I'd love that, they are two of the best wrestlers in the business right now and they have huge fan bases and appeal as well.

I'm sure they will also refer to when HHH threw Orton out of Evolution.

havent watched NWO yet but pretty much read what happens by accident, anyone seen it yet?

Downloading tonight.

Tank never did get the WCW title. Russo's insistence that he get it got Russo fired.

I think WCW's handling of Abbott was shockingly poor... but not as bad as the way they handled Bret Hart

oh dont get me started on that, they had that handed to them on a silver platter a huge story they could have rolled with and they blew it, and ruined an amazing career.

Yeah I didn't see it mate, just read what happens and Raw was today so already seen highlights from there..

but with Wrestlemania coming up, Randy Orton headlining as well as the WWE draft a week or two after the 'mania - i'm sure things are gonna be shook up a lot.

ps. anyone see Christian back on ECW, his entrance was sick :)

Did anyone happen to catch Lockdown? I watched bits and pieces on Justintv - thought it was pretty good.

Foley as TNA champ!
