Wrestling

Yeah he's still signed to WWE, he came back only a while ago. he's not looking in top shape but yeah he's an old fella ain't he

They only brought him back to bring some humour to Raw because Santino Marella is probably the funniest guy out and they keep bringing in past stars so that they can keep funny segments rolling..

Yeah, I know and hear you on that :)

I can't believe that the Hardy's are no more, and that's the way it ended the reign. What a waste.

Yeah what the hell was with Matt going crazy all of a sudden.

They're gonna be out of the WWE in a year or two max anyway they could've at least pleased the fans..

I don't see how this is going to be a win-win situation for the WWE by getting this new storyline at all..

Never really liked Fat Hardy. Always a huge fan of Jeff.

I won't ask what's happened, as I have a few of the latest PPVs to watch (will watch when off work with my ankle being done again).

Loved Gold Dust, the Shattered Dreams move was a massive favourite, and his entrance was one of the best EVER!!!

Stone Cold would suck as a Manager, could you imagine him actually trying to manage someone? He'd end up whoopin their arse!

And I think he's actually contracted for like 2-3 appearances a year, but is unable to wrestle due to injury (neck or back or something like that???).

Going back to the topic of Kane and tagteam partners. I don't think Kennedy is "big" enough for Kane. He worked with smaller guys before, and it's always been "odd" to say the least. When he worked with Taker it was the SH!T!!!

I'd like to see him again be used as the "Monster" that he is, and get another title shot (what ever title they decide). After watching his 3-disc DVD (The Disturbed & Twisted Life of Kane), you have to love it when he's indestructible.

I'd like to see Shane O'Mac come back at WM for some awesome match, Street Fight or Last Man Standing??

They need to bring back the Hardcore Title, that was always a Fan Fave!!!!!

Interesting, if you are not up to date, I would ruin it for you on what's happening, but you could be happy :)

I know, I know, fans loved it when the tagged together. Even when they do it once every 6 months now, it's just great to see. Not a good way to end terms.

Like DX, everytime they join back, it's just awesome!!!

I loved it when HHH & HBK reformed D-X a couple years back, that was awesome!!

I almost picked up the new D-X DVD too, but they'd sold out when I went for it the other day.

It would be nice to see the big red machine win once in a while. He cant even beat rey mysterio or kofi kingston, maybe they should rest him for a few months, bring him back with the mask on.

KANE definatly needs to win a title, he is my all time favorite, he was actually suppose to win the title a couple years back from taker but they decided not to because he has "bad knees" yet I have not seen him take any time off whats so ever.

he would need to grow the hair back to wear the mask, it just isn't the same.

I loved watching Raw when he would just come out and start chokeslamming everyone in his path, I should get a kane mask and do that at work :D

I have this poster signed by Kane from a autograph signing. it's 27x40.

Christian isnt in contract with TNA anymore he is either going to sign or has signed with WWE again, so that should be great to watch how they will play him into this, might even see some Christian/Jeff hardy Vs Edge/Matt hardy matches.

they can find a way for Chyna to come back.

From what I remember, Chyna used to go out with HHH, then Hunter dumped her for Steph McMahon. Chyna left the WWE, vowing never to return unfortunately. Similar to the Lita/Edge/Matt Hardy love triangle, but Matt returned eventually.

Yeah its unfortunate there are quite a few average wrestlers atm, Raw, ECW & Smackdown have been mediocre the last few years. Most of the PPV's are still high standard, but the weekly shows are lacking most of the time. Too many brands me thinks, too many titles. WWE has butchered the ECW.

The female WWE 'divas' are nothing but skinny prissy eye candy. The only exceptions are Beth Phoenix & maybe Michelle McCool & Micky James. The womens titles dont mean jack in the WWE anymore, they are hardly even defended these days. The TNA knockouts make the WWE divas look like an episode of adult play school.

The tag team belts used to be highly valued as well, but not anymore. There are very few good tag teams out there ATM. The Mizz & Morisson are awesome & are a breath of fresh air to the WWE, but they have no challengers. Remember in the 80's & 90's with all the great tag teams? Not anymore :(

And what has happened to the art of heel managers? Gone I tell ya.

Anyway, I maybe grumpy with the WWE but I still watch it every week. It's the main reason I got foxtel.

Looks like Christian is on the way back, I wish the WWE could talk Lita into returning :(

EDGE to dominate for another 12 months :)

Kane is the man. But he's been getting a bit flabby, needs to get that dominant physique he had when he first came to the WWE and during the mid-late 90's.

His storyline is just a bit annoying tho, but it's not like they can revamp him..

Mizz and morrison are great probably the best tagteam to have the titles since the dudleys and hardys.

Its really unfortunate how they used Kane he could of been as big as undertaker he could of easily of held the wwf title when he won it for a considerable amount of time, but now he will be there just to make others look good.

Yeah wwe needs to follow TNA's lead with the knockouts i mean awsesome kong is just that awsesome!

Raw is on today hoorah see what happens with the whole orton/shane mcmahon thing i would love to see shane have another match possibly at no way out with another huge spot. But he is a father and what not now so dunno whether that will end up happening.

Just finished watching the Rumble, very cool!

Sucks about Matt/Jeff Hardy tho.

Anyone notice that yet again, Taker was taken out of the Rumble by someone who'd already been DQ'd, then went on into the croud to continue the fight.

I'm sure we can expect a match from those two very soon!!!!

Can't wait to see what happens to Orton. I really like his "viper" type act before the RKO, always hated him, still don't go much on him, but the new look is cool.

Yeah orton is getting a great push right now i always liked him though and he has just come back even better, would love to see him win the title at WM25!

Watched raw and smackdown this week and man does the Raw Elimination chamber look crap or what for No Way Out, besides Jericho (who btw is my favourite of all time) there is not a single person in that chamber that would have a shot at winning the title its gonna be a given that cena will walk out world champion still which sucks. I must say Mike Knox's beard is awsesome lol i asipre to have such a beard some day.

Anyone seen what happened to Jericho after raw the other day? Some fans stopped his car and then a douche bag and his wife started physically having a go at him, if i was jericho id be rightfully pissed off at this and what a terrible job by security:

the NWO card looks pretty decent currently i might even end up ordering it:

World Heavyweight Title Elimination Chamber Match (Kane/Kofi Kingston/Mike Knox/Mysterio/Jericho/Cena)
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match (Undertaker/HHH/Jeff Hardy/Big Show/Vladimir Kozlov/Edge)
Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon (No Holds Barred Match)
Shawn Michaels vs. JBL
ECW Champion Jack Swagger (who the hell is this guy and why is he ECW champion) vs. Finlay

Most shocking moments? So yeah im bored and was thinking of some of the shocking moments that have happened in wrestling, there are 3 that really stand out for me and they are:

Survivor Series 1997
The swerve nobody knew was coming - The Montreal Screwjob. A main event well-known for being the thing that ended Vince McMahon Jr. the promoter, and launched Mr. McMahon the character. The moment that caused Bret Hart to refuse to work with the WWF/E for YEARS, and started the issues with Owen Hart into motion. It goes on and on. I was in Year 7 when i rented this and needless to say i was in shock.

Hell In A Cell 98:
Undertaker V Mankind, dont know if i really need to say anything about this one, what an amazing match. The first bump off the top of the cage through the table was planned, the second chokeslam through the cage was not. When you see a closeup on mick after the chokeslam you see some white thing in his nose its actually his tooth :P

Bash at the Beach 2000:
Hulk Hogan invokes his "creative clause" to refuse to put over Jeff Jarrett in their match, instead insisting that he go over to keep his character from looking weak and wins the WCW title. Vince Russo, head booker, tells Jarrett to go to the ring like everything is fine and lay down for Hogan. According to legend, the lay down was part work, part shoot. The Russo promo and the decision to have Booker T go over Jarrett later that night was a full shoot, resulting in Hogan never appearing on WCW TV again and suing for defamation. I actually ordered this PPV which was rare for me because i never really enjoyed WCW PPVs, again this was one of the rare times i was left wondering if it was all a work or a shoot:

YouTube - Vince Russo fires Hulk Hogan (WCW Bash at the Beach 2000)

Wow, I think Russo was a bit mad?!?!?!

I had never seen either of these two clips so I am happy that you posted them. That was at a time when wrestling was at its peak... WCW vs WWF(E)

The Mankind/UT was a pay per view I had ordered, and I have to say when he went off the top the first time, I thought there was no way in gods green earth Foley was ever going to get up. But when he went through the top of the cage, I was like OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! I was in shock. Foley to me is a legend and has make a huge impression on me for what someone will do to go over the top to be a human crash test dummy.

I have his book, Have a nice day, its a good read...

Yeah i had that book was a great read! He truely is a legend a future HOFer the stuff he has done to himself for this industry is amazing.

Yeah russo was well pissed lol but the amount of politics that were backstage in WCW for so long it was just a matter of time and it was a great moment, mainly cause booker T ended up becoming champion!
