With the trade deadline looming...

I really like Fish but he is past it and we really needed that upgrade. Lakers will more than likely start Sessions and have Blake backing him up also with Gouldlock playing a some mintues there also.

I also think the Clippers made a "nice" move with getting Young, he's a little inconsistent but can fill it up.

Wallace was moved to the Nets for Okur and Shawne Williams.

Good move by the Nets.

Shocked at seeing Stephen Jackson moved, was listening to Jerry West yesterday in the game v Boston he was talking about how he's like their enforcer type guy coming in etc etc, and he's gone the next day!

Mehmet Okur, Shawne Williams, protected 1st round pick

Yeah...... you forgot the 1st pick as Matt said. Only protected to 3 though...... so that's why I am NOT happy.

Blazers waive Oden?

Source w/knowledge of Blazers' thinking says team has informed Greg Oden's camp that Oden is being waived for needed roster room after deals

Ok, time to vent.

Kupchak pulled off a master move in sending Walton and his $6m in exchange for Sessions.

The Fisher trade however, is one of the more disgraceful moves by the business. They have moved their spiritual leader, a first round pick (or the salary of the first rounder...which was given for Odom) for a forward who won't be used in the rotation at all. Fisher and Odom for Hill essentially. So why pull the lever on such a ridiculous trade? So that the Buss family (I suspect it is Jim Buss pushing this) could save millions in salaries and therefore the dollar for dollar luxury tax on those salaries. Jim Buss has just shown us the true value (in financial terms) of loyalty. A sad day for Laker fans IMO.

Yeah, I too am happy with RJ going and Jacks coming in.... But I don't see why the Spurs needed to add a Conditional 1st rounder with it?? Thought it was pretty even as a swap ??

Nick Young could be the missing SG for the Clips, but needs to pace himself, drop a few points off his BIG games to be consistent!

Nugs moving Nene after signing a 5year deals had me surprised??? I guess they have just put all of their eggs into Faried and hoping he steps up permanently. At least they will now have the cap space to pay for him!

I heard it had a lot to do with Fish calling a players only meeting. Management was not happy, thus sending him packing...
