To be honest I never really saw much of ai. I couldn't get past his ego to watch.

and kobe doesnt have a massive ego?

everyone who doesnt like allen iverson always says its because he had and ego and ran his mouth, i think thats what made him possibly the most unique player to grace the nba and the player you either loved or hated

You bet he does, he is in my most 5 disliked players ever. But I still admire him for what he has done.

Haha when I read this thread I was like... I thought we were supposed to guess the players and you had the players names right there hahaha......

Whilst I agree you can't just compare players by stats alone; the idea of this thread is still a bit of fun and would like to see more! :)

love the old Iverson clips! i havent seen any in a while, but i remember the Iverson crossing up Jordan clip been way more impressive, when i watched it then it didnt seem that news worthy. its not like no one ever scored on jordan before.

its a good thought, put Iverson in LA with shaq, maybe he would have 3-peated as well. team him up with Pau, another 2, all while kobe is bouncing around the league thanks to his abbrasive personality.

Exactly. Or Shaq in Philly with AI

My argument is that, ignoring career achievements, Iverson is a better player than Kobe.

I hate Kobe but that is just a silly comment. Yes he could dribble better, he could not play the triangle in la because number 1 he is not big enough, number 2 doesn't have the bball iq of Kobe Bryant.

He could not play above the Rim and finish like Kobe did.

Don't get me wrong iverson was good but not in the same league as Kobe!!

I wasn't even talking about Iverson in the Triangle with the Lakers So I don't even know where that came from.

Doesn't have the bball IQ of Kobe? Are you serious? I'm not even going to bother with that. I would have thought more points, more assists and more steals would have been obvious indications of Iverson bball IQ.

Obviously he couldn't play above the rim, Kobe is 6"5 Iverson was barely 6 foot, so that is also a ridiculous statement. Although he was able to this

Half was aimed at you dude, ither half was aimed at the comment of put him in la with shaq or pau...So your telling me if your going to start a new team with both these players in their prime your taking ai??
