Where will Judd land?

Bruce reminds me off Judd alot in how he goes about his footy but obviously he is NO WHERE near as talented as the great man. Green will probally Captain next year to i think and Judd, Brock, Neita and Bruce will all be in the leadership group.
Ben maybe if Judd comes to Melbourne he will finally teach Bruce how to kick haha because theirs no doubting his durability as a footballer.

Oh so now you're on the 'Green for Captain' idea? Hehe I'm pretty sure I said Green or Macca a month or so back I loved Green's leadership this year. He didn;t have a steller/stand out year, but the little things he did showing his maturity and leadership really impressed me. He was continually plugging holes, which of course there were many of this year, which is why he didn;t stand out. If Judd does come, would be a perfect switch over Green, to Judd to Jonesy as the Captain path
As for Bruce, hopefully Judd can teach him not only how to kick, but how to earn his whopping contract he's signed. It's 1 thing to average 24 touches a game as a Scott West style possession, but 24 touches a game with 50% of them backline nothings, and 50% of the remaining 12 being clangers is not earning squat. This year I was seriously ashamed that I had his number on my back...

Yeh i kinda switched from McLean to Green because if Judd comes we will need someone with a bit of years and games played to their name to help lead the team. Im not saying McLean can't but he has only played 50 something games and as you saw with Kade Simpson at Carlton, it's a little to early to elevate someone to such an important role.

Geez the Judd and Melbourne talk seems to have gotten the Melbourne supporters a bit excited I will still stick by my statement and say Judd's best years will be behind him. I can see the $$$ being a liability to whoever picks him up. Juddy has fantastic footy smarts though, so he'll always been a great player, just not at the 110% peak of what we've seen in the past. That and his contract is a massive risk IMO.

I hope he proves me wrong, as I feel he'd slot in fantastically at Melbourne. Getting rid of Johnstone would work in your favour too I feel. I'd also get rid of Miller like you guys have said.

Good. Even if he did go down injured again *touch wood*, just think about what it does to our club financially having Judd at the MFC! Our club was a joke in comparrison to just about every club in the AFL, we got slammed by all the journo's and when a big story came along at demonland it was always overshadowed by a smaller story from a bigger profile club. Memberships will go up and the Dee's will have the best player in the AFL on its playing list. Its kinda like a fairytale as Judd supported the Dee's as a kid and he now will be playing for them. Apparently Judd was gobsmacked at how brilliant Bailey's presentation was and Bails was a big factor in us getting the champion.

It was all over the internet late afternoon yesterday and ABC radio were confirming it but SEN are starting to deny its authenticy. All a smokescreen i think, i am preety confident in Judd being in the red and the blue and hopefully it comes out officially today or at the latest Monday.

As a Magpies fan i hope the Judd-Melbourne rumours aren't true, but i have a gut feeling that Judd will go to Melbourne. The rumour is that it will be a three-way trade between Melbourne, West Coast, and St Kilda. The trade will go something like this;

St Kilda gets James Frawley from Melbourne

Melbourne gets Chris Judd from West Coast

West Coast gets Melbourne's First Draft Pick
West Coast gets St Kilda's First Draft Pick
West Coast gets a Melbourne Player of their choice (maybe Miller)

It's only a rumour at this stage, but it does sound like it would be a good deal for all 3 Teams involved.
