To an extent, I agree. Some of the new members are spamming with multiple lists in the wrong forums. However there are some great members on here, both new and old, who are doing great things for the forum and the hobby!
Maybe there should be some sort of warning system. If a member is blatantly posting multiple lists, lists in wrong forums etc they should be given a warning and a reminder of the site rules. If they keep doing it, see ya later! Go sell on eBay or something!Yep and these great members will all get pushed away slowly like I am being right now...
Are their section specific moderators?
If you see this please report the threads to the mods so we can clean it up and give warnings to the members (if they get 3 warnings in a month they get banned)Threads continuously repeated, stating the NEED for a new single card (nobody NEEDS a card ffs, its a WANT). Not only are they placed in the wrong forum, they are placed in multiple forums. They are bumped daily, if not more. Ridiculous conversations are had in these threads, that should clearly be moved into PMs.
It's more wanted threads in sale/trade and vice versa, but thanks for taking a look aroundI've also just had a quick look at the general forum and couldn't see too many sale/trade threads. I'll have a better look tonight.
I did find a few how much is this worth threads so I have made a sticky at the top of the forum.
Will have a further look when I get a chance, as I said above please use the report button as it automatically notifies all mods. It's more wanted threads in sale/trade and vice versa, but thanks for taking a look around
This site was was like heaven when i first discovered it in 2011.
But now find trades are becoming so nuch harder to get over the line.
I'm constantly getting quoted ebay prices and getting lowballed.
The site i thought was to easily communicate, trade or sell your wares, but now feel that the great traders in here are getting squeezed into the abyss by greedy traders and salers.
I've had some great trades where the values of the cards havent matched exactly,
but each party got what they were looking for.
And really thought that was the beuaty of it.
This is not only in the AFL forum, I think all sports will go through waves , traders will come and go etc. I think the key is to continue to invite the good traders you know to be part of the community here. This site was was like heaven when i first discovered it in 2011.

I'm not sure what the problem with this is? What else do you expect them to use to get an idea of price? Isn't this the best price to get an idea of the current market? This

Unfortunately that is not an AFL only issue, it's common amongst the other forums too and is just a case of a reminder of what should be a common courtesyThe cluttering of the sale/trade forum is an issue, but the bigger issue is the crap we have to deal with when making a trade/sale.
Unanswered PMs, stupid counter offers and changing mind/offers/wants just makes me not want to bother anymore.
