how long have u been working in there? i was gonna apply in dontrum(not sure if thats correct) to study but decided not to.

Im an egg collector for baiada poultry, long hours, cruddy pay, and likely you'll end up with a screwed back because of it.

i own my own business, retail food, have a few shops scattered thoughout sydney. been doing it for a number of years.
anyone thinking of starting their own business can PM me for some advice as im always willing to impart words of cynical wisdom from my many years of delaing with people. ask anything from franchises to ur own ideas, i have an opinion
besides that, i have a B.Comm and an MBA, never really used them professionally, and looking back, i dont think i really needed to spend time getting those qualifications, but hey, what can u do.
i used to work about 75hrs a week, give or take, but now that we have sold a few of the businesses, i can wind down a little now, so i only work about 40 hours a week.

hey jimmy, why do u say that?? the only people that couldnt possibly work either r mentally or physically handicapped, or are too old, do u fit any of these categories?

seriously, there r plenty of jobs out there, u just have to decide whether u r willing to do them, if not then its probably because u r too lazy, or the govt pays u to well. then again, if u like living like a bum all ur life, then thats great

well I case manage about 500 people, and Id say only about 5% are "unemployable" due to circumstances beyond their control.

the rest are seriously lazy arsed...they get it real good...400 bucks a fortnight for doing shit all, concessions, health care cards, rent assistance, housing commission, baby bonuses...

if you really dont have any self respect or aspirations to achieve, then why not?...so its my job to kick em in the arse!

and that my friend is the sad reality of many australians. they then turn around and have the audacity to complain when they have their well deserved entitlements cut back. the world doesnt owe them jack, nobody owes them anything. but they have this mentality that the govt and others owe them much more. its sad and infuriates me that people believe this.

im just glad that i have my things in order, and will never be in their position.
seriously trey, i dont know how u can turn up to work and do what u do without blowing up at these social retards

most of us just laugh...ive been doing it for 2 years now, they come in, yell, abuse, lie to us...and we kiss their butts because eventually they'll be worth an outcome for us...but I take satisfaction reporting most of these bludgers to clink...the more frustrating thing is when Clink overturn our recommendations for suspensions!

but welfare dependance is a serious issue, its like an addiction...they live day to day to ensure they get their dole money...and thats it...

for every 50 arseholes I have someone who really is a bit hardup and doesnt have the luck comes through the door, and they appreciate the help with give them...so thats why I rock up to work!

and what is the outcome that u speak of??
i fail to see how it is an addiction, surely at some atage of their life, they werent doing it, or they see others that r better off than they r and they must surely wonder, how can i get to that stage. unless of course they r that brain dead, that they cant make the connection between hard work and rewards

You sound like an OK dude Trey :)

basically we receive sums of cash from the government for putting someone who is long term (over 1 year) or highly disadvantaged unemployed for 13 weeks in a job...so if they work 13 consecutive weeks, we receive up to $4,400.

[-X [-X [-X

I am unemployable due to a personality disorder that I have - it's personal, but let's just say that I'm not good with compliance.

so trey, would u say that people that u find jobs for stick with it??
and in regards to the cash, who gets it?? r u a private company or is it a govt run organisation?

hey jimmy, that sounds pretty grim. i dont know what to say to that. hopefully u r on the correct medication or recovery plan, so that one day u might be fully functioning, if thats what its called.
with compliance, im guessing u mean taking orders. im sure u could do something outdoors like landscaping or gardening, greenskeeping, that would be cruisy.
