What do you do for a living??

man suddenly i feel really old...i remember thinking the same thing going into high school lol

I'm actually a bit nervous going to high school. :( Scared on being lost on the first day.

Pharm: Do you go to a co-ed school or boys only school?

lol
heres a tip

yr 7 = dont have to work hard at all
yr 8 = dont have to work hard at all
yr 9 = dont have to work hard at all
yr 10 = dont have to work hard at all
yr 11 = start doing work and get ready for yr 12
yr 12 = do lots of work or none, depending on if you want to go to uni

take it easy and just cruise through it farm

I work for myself these days. I got frustrated having to rely on others in order to get where I wanted, so working for myself seemed the logical step.

As for what I do,my time is divided between duties as an OH&S consultant, and as a professional writer for businesses, mostly writing grants, policy/procedure documents and editing reports for people in high paying jobs who still can't manage to get a decent grasp on the english language. One day I'll post a letter I had to redraft from the CEO of a local government department. You will not believe how completely this person manages to mutliate the english language. I was shocked.

I am now being employed as a Children's Pastor which is great as I can work from home when I like, can go to my office when I like so it is very family friendly!!!

i am 30 and work as a vinyard hand which is pruning & picking grape vines to make wine. only 9 months of the year so get centrelink aswell.

Hhahah. Did they know it was you?

In a word yes (as they use the logging on each account to make sure they are only viewing sites they should be viewing), and I knew they had visited my site as the network computer name was not one of the regular network names in the Computer Science Department.

Also, don't worry about fretting too much about going to High School. Most of us had these feelings and got through fine. I know I found it harder, as I went to a school in another district (for music), so I didn't get to go to school with my Primary School friends that I would've gone to school with had I gone to the local High School.

Enjoy yourself.

Classic Geelongfan, lol. I found out the same thing, nothing else matters but the HSC if you want to go to Uni. For a job though, just do well on the finals in Yr 10 and the HSC.

I posted in the earlier thread, but for all the newcomers since then, I'm an Automotive Technician. Sounds like a complicated, high-end job doesn't it, well I'm really just a mechanic, but hey, Automotive technician sounds better! LOL!
Anyone thinking of becoming one? Well DON'T, it sucks, lol. Just ask Andrew3134

Im a manager of an employment services provider. I help disadvantaged people find work (ie I annoy them until they realise being on the dole is a pain in the arse and working is just easier)
