Upper Deck come back thread

I'd love to see some competition back that would hopefully increase the quality of products put out and hopefully see a drop in product prices overall. The quality coming out of $100+ product just isn't there anymore and you don't have anything worth busting in the $50-$70 range anymore which is I feel more comfortable busting.

I've only been back in the game for 6 months and I'm finding it hard to even justify buying the <$200 box stuff anymore, the quality isn't there.

Me too.

Upper Deck are really good at having their lower end products, but with a really rare and chase set like UD Flight team parallels and their 04/05 Immaculate series.

My two all time favourite designs from Upper Deck, you really need a couple pics with flash and without but you still never catch how good they look in hand

Favourite patch auto design-

Favourite auto design-

So many other iconic designs, too many to list but this is my 2cents

This is the main reason we all want Upper Deck back -

and to be truthful I think that UD are devaluing it by continually pumping more and more out - A Jordan auto can be had now for under $300

They 100% are devaluing it.

Even a Jordan Bulls auto can be had in the $500 - $600 range.

But if UD get NBA again, they'll be flogging more out there, which really I think it'll be a good thing. It makes them more affordable.

I'd love to get an MJ auto again.

Surprised no-one has gone old school yet, so I'll do it:)

Bought a box of 93/94 UD SE a couple of years back:)

Electric courts were one of the first parallels EVER. I also pulled a D. Rob Die cut All star:) except it was damaged, oh well, the box was 18 years old.

04/05 Trilogy, I wanted to collect the Golds /100 and the Spectrums /10. Well sellers expect way too much for the Golds, I won't pay it, and the Spectrums never turn up. These are just beautiful Designs.

93/94 Upper Deck was my first ever pack. I couldn't afford SP when I was younger.

The first year of SPx did not disappoint. Great design. How cool are Holograms.

98 SPx, what a set, more Holograms and parallels, good luck getting a Grand Finale for cheap. Here's a Gold.

Upper Decks highest end product, I'm all over this base set design. The Golds from 05/06 are the best of all Exquisite IMO.

Here's how to use white in your design:)

Sadly I don't see UD ever coming back NBA. Still my favorite brand as shown in pics above, even their base sets had effort put into them.

Love the SP SE. A great design, though the quality of UV coating wasn't the best.

Bumping this up.

2 pages celebrating Upper Decks best?

Are we missing a bunch of members these days or what? Ha ha.

Bring them out, low/mid/high end, whatever.
