UFC Topps UFC Knockout - Series 5

Yup just a few weeks now until my case of Knockout arrives.
Worried about value now that Series 6 has been announced, which is not only a stupid move by Topps but also, I think, an unfair one to those of us that pre-ordered Knockout.
Won't be pre-ordering Title Shot, because they'll probably announce series 10 before it's even out.
With all these sets now, I'm re-evaluating what I consider to be "enough" of one series in the collection. Thinking I might just stick with my favorite few fighters, and just get base sets of each series (including Inserts, Autos and Relics). Anything rare I pull that isn't from my group I sell on. With the number of cards in each set it's just impossible to chase more than a few fighters.
Once I've had a look at Knockout I may even start selling off some of the other stuff in my collection. We'll see.

Yeah Shogun, Leben, and Liddell only for me these days. Hence the mass red auto sale 
I think there is a few nice cards of those 3 coming in knockout though so Im looking forward to the release. I think this could be a release that actually holds its value or goes up as it seems to be more limited/of a higher end. I think series 6 looks like another cheap release doesnt it.

I missed that when I was quickly browsing the product info. and no I havent heard anything about a confirmed final list. There were quite a few To Be Decided cards on the original checklist from memory, so will be interesting to see.
Im currently in negotiations to secure Shoguns leaf auto. While we are on the subject what are your guys thoughts on value. 180 is the rough price currently and there are only 96 of them and they were only available via redemption. But ive just got a funny feeling this value will plummet once Topps floods the market with his auto. Technically its his rookie, but technically Chuck Liddell's rookie auto was in an upper deck release and that sells for less then a heap of Topps. Same as Forrest and a few others with ring kings. Tough spot.

bdean i would hold off on the Shogun.. I dont think that price will hold, especially when his topps cards are out.
I have 1 box on order with cherry, and am hoping they will have some at UFC 127 in the merchandise stalls. They had Round 2 last year for the RRP at the time. Just didnt have the money with me to get any.

So Knockout gets released this Thursday (Oz time) so should have it within two to three weeks. Ordered mine from canadacardworld.com. Haven't dealt with them before but hopefully they ship fast.
