Top 5 Signature Redemptions

Just wondering which 5 'Select' Signature Redemption cards (individual players) people view as being the most valuable.

I know each collector has a different view on 'value' depending on their favourite teams etc, im looking/hoping for non-biased opinions.

Well if we purely base it on value here are my 5

1. 2005 Tradition Tupou Sig
2. 2000 R Gasnier Sig
3. 2009 Lockyer Captain Sig
4. 2004 Johns Captain Sig
5. Another captain sig - Menzies/Tallis/Thurston maybe

Honorable mention to Beetson Immortal sig

Here are my top 5 Select signature card redemptions....

1. 2004 G Tallis Captain signature card [Every other Captains signature can be found on Ebay every day of the week except for this fricking card ????]
2. 2012 D Lockyer Broncos 76th player signature card [There was only 76 cards produced making this a long term investment especially card number 1 of 76]
3. 2009 D Lockyer Captains signature card [This card will hold its value year in year out and even more so when he becomes an immortal]
4. 2000 R Gasnier signature card [This card only goes up for sale every so often and its price seems to get higher everytime it pops up for sale????]
5. 2003 D Lockyer Jersey signature card [For me this is my favourite signature card ever produced and it hardly ever comes up for sale]

I'd say the 2008 Centenary Beetson has to be a little more 'valuable' collecting wise and dollar wise, as with his sad passing, there won't be any more signed cards.

these are the cards i paid the most for 1. 2005 Tradition Tupou Sig
2. 2000 R Gasnier Sig
3. 2009 Lockyer Captain Sig
4. 2004 Johns Captain Sig 5. 2004 fittler captain sig, i had to wait years for the tupou very hard to get, select still has at least 50 unredeemed, i have only ever seen 1 for sale the one i got for 1400 i think i paid for it. number 006.

It doees seem as though something went wrong there with the Tupou's. That just seems like too many unredeemed ones for it to be a coincidence

Di has told numerous people that only about half have been redeemed and old Wangy swears black and blue that he is sold out of stock.

I think the only conclusion you can make is that something funny has gone on.

Interestingly our friend 8088edge has recently popped up with some boxes for sale.......

Hi Shane , i was told from someone that used to work for Select that something had gone wrong with both the players signature and redemption cards???? But that was only a rumor so i am not sure how true this was????
