Mills' first game as a Spur

haha, he spent the whole time chasing Nash!

It was good to see some of the NBL style pressure though!

With Manu, Green, Leonard and Mills, our defense will be pretty strong!

Spurs are looking very tough. The bench has 4-5 guys that could start.

I know I am biased, but I think they are the most consistent team out of the top 5-6 in the league!

OKC, Miami and Chicago can all be better than the Spurs on any given day, but I am finding it hard to see any of them get 4 wins against the Spurs

Just like no one seeing Memphis getting 4 wins last year eh!? :p Good to see the old boys getting the job done so far!

Agree on the Memphis comment, however I'd say with the additions of Diaw, Jackson and the evolution of Leonard and the pick up of Green It will be harder to physically dominate the Spurs compared to last year and the reason we got SMASHED by Memphis was because physically we had no answer. I mean who have we lost from that team? George Hill who was a key part unquestionably but Parker has stepped up even further to run the point in what is looking like a career year, and Jefferson was a as bad a pick up for the price as any in recent memory in regard to the organization. I think he averaged well under 10pts/gm for the Memphis series from memory and as always gives you little physically so he was pretty much a non factor in the series.

The Spurs are a much tougher team this year and how that translates in the post season will remain to be seen, but I do not expect a repeat of last year, so frustrating watching that series as you knew deep down once Memphis got on top physically we had no answer.... The front office has addressed this in true Spurs fashion - Brilliantly!

Woooo!!
Patty with his first points as a Spur!!

6 minutes - 3-5 fg - 1-2 from 3 - 7 pts!!

I jst had to get some money on the Spurs to win it all. $15 - 1 odds is very nice.

Also got them at $13-1 a while back just to come out of the west.

They were $52-1 at the beginning of the year.

Hopefully the playoff picture stays the same.

Here's hoping this is how it turns out. FINGERS CROSSED!!!!

1st round - does'nt matter, Houston/Denver/Utah/Phoenix are not as good as Memphis last year.
2nd round - Lakers/Memphis, pretty touch match up either way.
West finals - OKC or Dallas, again TOUGH.
NBA finals - Bulls/Miami/Boston, Be interesting to see who comes out of the East.

Gonna be interesting. Would love to see T.D get one more. Just really cement himself as one of the greats.

5 rings would put him level with Kobe, who people mention in the same conversation with Jordan.

Come on Spurs!!!

This is by no way saying we're a shoe in, just saying this is how it would likely go down if we made it all the way.

Anyone care to add who the Spurs would like to avoid in these match ups?

So far this season we have played well against all the top teams in the West, aside from the Lakers who we haven't played yet.

V DAL - 2-2
V MEM - 2-0
V OKC - 2-1
V LAC - 1-1

I think we are able to beat any team in the West in a series, i think the team we'll struggle the most against is the Bulls, and maybe the Heat. If we make it that far.

Really!?

When i was in my early teens back in the mid 90's i used to collect card a lot, had a nice d-rob collection (still do have it)

As i got older i stopped collecting i guess mainly due to the fact i had other things to spend my money on (night clubs, females and alcohol to name a few), then a few years ago i found this site, and it got me interested in the cards again, that said i don't collect avidly like a lot of the folk on here. i doubt any of my cards would be big ticket items, but they have sentimental value i guess.

I guess i would be interested in purchasing any d-rob cards, to add to my collection.

Might have to start collecting Patty Mills cards now too :)
