I think Daniels is already a smarter player befitting from playing with this group over the summer. His group in practice included Pierce and Allen and both put in good pre seasons in the gym with vet experience. This would be the first time he also finds the floor so spread and defense concentrating on so many other players freeing up the lane as the dish is on if he wants and the D knows it.

Williams needs to keep his feet planted on the floor though!
 
Yeah totally agree with the floor being so spread for him, the opposing D wouldnt even be thinking of him really with Allen/Pierce/Garnett/Rondo/Wallace/House etc. on there mind first. As for smarts every coach his had reckons his got the basketball IQ of a top line star and Doc said he knew he was smart but totally underestimated him aswell this preseason. The same for his D but definately this summer guarding Allen, Pierce and maybe even Rondo being in the 2nd unit he would have learnt heaps more than at Indiana he would have only been guarding Granger although his a good player guarding a few superstars would have done wonders for him.
 
Well a pretty bad Q from us and we slightly extend the lead although we had the lead out to 14pts at one stage!

The difference was consecutive TO's on about 5 posessions, less talk and too much time on the offensive end. The tempo just didnt suit us for that Q. Also the second units of each team didn't get in as wholesale changes and that negated some of the advantage we have on that front.

Will be interesting to see the minutes and units out there to start the fourth now. If the Cavs go to the bench we could blow this out to a quick 15pts and put the game away.

The Cavs are ugly to watch from a purist point of view, so many isolations.
 
The Cavs were exposed today and once again showed that its Bron and then question marks around the other guys even though they have got stronger in the off season.

Our D was pretty solid and I'm happy with that but the offense is still a good work in progress but the signs are there it has a stack of weapons and options keeping teams guessing and exploiting matchups.

Pierce was clutch as always and came in cold and hit the big shots when needed but Rondo's two HUGE rebounds saved the day imo. A 5pt swing there and it was game on!
 
Danger game?

I know its cliché but back to back after a big opening day nationally televised game and then up against a young streaky run and gun team that we always seem to need some Ray Allen heroics to beat........

Today is the perfect example of a game where BBD will be missed taking some court time off KG and Sheed..

Our O should be more half court based today and played at the tempo we want to play at. Rondo's head is key today, it has to be fully into the game. How KG backs up from yesterday will be interesting as well.

Defence wins titles and this team looks to be the best defensive team in the league this season. :cool:

59pts for a franchise low for the Bobcats and only one player in double digits with a massive 10pts :wave:

Only one of our starters played in the fourth and lots of rest for the others in back to back games. Sheed looks to be fitting in perfectly as well, can't comment too much till I've watched the replay but it all looks pretty straight forward. And the Cavs dropped another game today with Bron not able to carry the cavs on his back again. Good day :D

was thinking about getting it and if it would be worth it...
only got it for like the last month of last season
 
It's only early but the Celts are looking good. I really enjoyed watching Rondo the other day. His game has really improved. If the Celts aren't able to sign him before the end of the month, a few teams will try and do so after the season (as a restricted FA-Celts have right to match offer).

Yeah there 2nd unit is just as good as most teams 1st unit, watching yesturday i was like man this teams good! House, Daniels, Wallace, Williams (starting to play alright), Davis (when his back) Im wishing I put money on them at the start of the year now when they were $8...now at $4.50
