What a luxury to see PP get the minutes he did today and in a way the fouls were a blessing. We executed so well without PP as a focus where normally we have some trouble when just Allen is the primary scorer on the floor.

Rondo nearly out rebounded Howard and put in amazing 18 assists and was so clean with his passes till late TO's ruined his almost perfect game pass wise. His ratios are huge especially compared to other PGs and the fact he is so aggressive and often out of control LOL

Props to Eddie but a BIG thanks has to be given to the guys like Baby, Perk, Scal who set the screens to get him open and the ball movement that created space.

I was quiet on the Rondo altercations as I felt he should of copped a ban but it will be interesting to see if the NBA suspends Alston. Thats a HUGE worry for the Magic when Rondo already runs riot over the Magic.

Ray is ray again and looking for his drive to the basket which is always great for a FT shooter such as himself. Baby was quiet but so efficient and took it to Howard on occasions. Perk controlled this game and was awesome. He can guard Howard one on one but the same can't be said about Howard. With the isolation Perk can take Howard on and get his shot and the basket. Howards award is for his help out D it seems. Some terrible choices of shot today by Dwight.

Our comeback in game one shows our mental toughness is certainly there. We let our guard down and dug the hole but today when out in front we took care of the game. The magic couldn't do that in game one and today they hung their heads. Mentally are they tough enough especially if the series goes far? They don't look so after two games.

Not a lot of bad points to make today. Solid team effort, solid D, great passing and movement, great contributions by everyone on the court. Perk should't have been out on the floor with 2 mins to go in the third on 4 fouls but thats all my beef with Doc is today.

Forgot to mention the tripple double by rondo! Great to see the c's back on the winniing list again! I'm sure you'll sleep better tonight Chad :)
 
I don't watch much Celts games, and when I watched Game 1, Eddie House really suprised me for what I saw, with him jacking 3 triples in a matter of minutes, and committing a foul and TO. I thought "is this their 6th man/scoring punch off the bench"?

Then I saw his stats for lighting them up for 30+. I guess he had an off-game.

Good to see them having impact players, and being able to rest their starters. I sure with Dallas had that... At least I can get some form of entertainment during the 2nd Round.. :thumbsup:
 
yep house sure lit it up, he can shoot that boy but he needs to calm down a little as he seems to get a bit overexcited at times and may end up costing his team with technicals down the track at crucial times if he doesnt tone it down... he gets a lot of air on his jumpers with a high arc and hes incredibly streaky, reminds me a little of john starks but when theyre off, arrghhhh yuck...
 
Well GAME 3! Always a pivotal one in a series. Hopefully Rondo will stay aggressive away from home. If he does and Perk doesn't all of a sudden pick up fouls that weren't getting called at home then I like our chances.....

Also wouldn't mind a Paul Pierce sighting.....
 
I hope Rondo comes to play. He's so hot and cold, hard to tell what you're in for with the kid. Expect a big one from Big Baby!

Thing with BBD is that Scal has been doing a better job defensively with Lewis so it's tough for him to have a big game.
Hasn't Scal done well, who woulda thought that a good team guy who was basically a great trainer, 12th man and an intelligent defender has become a real contributor these playoffs. If we get the usual 8 pts, 3 assists and 3 rebounds and 25 picks I'll be happy!!

BBD has done a better job than scal, more minutes and his stats reflect it. He's more athletic and like perk, is one of the most underated big men around.
 
Pierce heating up and going to the hole and the ft line....House!!!!! It's not over yet.....

Think picking up a 5th foul on Dwight will be important early in the 4th...

Yeah well, we'll see, wouldn't be surprised if Stan Van Gundy *****es till he's blue in the face about it. Good to see Anthony Johnson shoulder charge him - just what we all wanna do!!!!! Is there a bigger baby in the league than SVG??
 
Game over with 5 mins to go. Boston's D has been all up the shot all day, Orlando can shoot the 3 and yet guys are collapsing into the paint (even without Howard in) and leaving open three's, they're kinda secondary transition 3's too. They've picked up the pace and it's led to mass confusion all over...
