Thanks Chad. Look forward to Game 1. I've not watched the C's much at all, but certainly this series with the Bulls was an eye opener.

I thought that Ray Ray would be an x-factor for them, and Reddick on defense? Does he even play on D? Hedo & Lewis if they're in form might prove a bit difficult, but I'll be looking forward to Perk on Howard. He's a tough defender, I've never realised that before, so I'll be looking for this one!

Gonna be very hard for the Magic. Perk vs Howard is gonna be a highlight, but who's gonna match the speed of Rondo and defend BBD in the Paint? I think the c's will have this done in 5.
 
Well another series, another lot of experts saying we are underdogs. Some have even said on paper the Magic have more talent than us?

Lets see what the experts said prior to game one of the NBA finals last year? LMAO

What we can discuss and have no clue about is the days rest for the likes of Ray Allen and Paul Pierce...... Ray is in much better shape physically than PP and as a shooter I'd assume he would want to keep playing. PP said the same thing but I'm not so sure he doesn't need some more rest.

In the media we aren't' going to get a straight answer out of them anyway so all we have to do is wait and see.

Reports that Perks shoulder is sore is a concern as well. Lose Perk and we lose this series.

And yes the Magic like the Bulls will live and die by the jumpshot. How much Howard changes our game and restricts our pts in the paint has yet to be seen though. Howard has to respect Perk has some offensive game and can't lay off him too much to collapse back on D. BBD getting his shot off is a concern but in the past he has exploited the Magic with his now reliable 15fter.

Just can't wait to see how all this is going to go. Not yet have we seen these teams play with these line ups. We went 2-2 for the year and we got the early wins but missed both KG AND Rondo at a point and yet still it was close.

The key to this series is simply one thing imo. Our ability to switch or fight around screens and contest outside shots. If our D does its job to contest and restrict the late extra pass we win the series. =D>=D>=D>=D>

But will the REAL Rond turn up? His headspace is his biggest adversary. If he attacks and commits PLEASE BBD and PERK, DONT put the ball on the floor when you get it! Put it right up and in please!

I'm sure Doc is yelling the same thing.

I just hope his ankle is ok. I know the kid has already been playing with it all last series, but would be good to see him fully helathy and fit.
 
The Magic clearly playing better D than us and getting better looks than us on the O end as well.

Doc seems not sure how he wants to go with this game. Tony Allen AGAIN showing no brains. Some ugly ball from us in the last 6 mins of game time.
 
Man, you guys seriously need to rid yourself of TA. This is an awful game by the celts, lets just hope they have the first round yips.
 
never count the mighty celts out - but i am afraid to say if they play orlando like they played the bulls they will struggle big time.

perks and baby needs to stay out of foul trouble - orlando can exploit the smaller defense of boston more than chicago did.

and i am not sure if boston can win if the game becomes a shoutout either- not because of lack of talent cos ray ray and pierce are a lot better than any magic shooters - but because orlando has better offensive rebounder/s
 
The Magic have come out as one unit. That is how any roster should be regardless of talent out there. We are playing reactive basketball and letting the Magic dictate on both ends. This team needs to take control of the game or it will get ugly.

The Magic have spread the floor well and against tired legs thats a given of a game plan. Their congestion of the ball carrier and passing lanes has been impressive so far.

Not one FT for us yet at the half says it all about our offensive aggressiveness.
 
Well its now 0-1 in favour of the Magic.

Our heads are well and truly up our asses and my question of which Rondo will show up has been answered. Why he can't mentally prepare and bring it I don't know......

definetly a lack of aggressiveness to rim and in the paint. not the same team that played game 7 against the bulls....
 
make that 5...

Magic shot us back into the game. But back into it is still 16 down, would take a horrible last Q by the Magic and a great offensive one by us to get the W.

I hope we learn from what we did in the first half. Not that this team at this point should be learning such things in the second round of the playoffs, at home after 60+ wins.

Is it really back to only ten with only 1.50 taken off the clock??

Prove me wrong Celts... Prove me wrong.... get the W even though I gave up on you!
