I didn't notice that the first time (Joey grabbing Moore). I think after the foul on Miller, it has to add up. You gotta punish this kid now. Sadly, I don't think the NBA will take it upon themselves to punish and possibly eliminate the C's...

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!!! :worthy: =D>

Quite frankly that's two dodgy plays from Rondo in 2 games.

Sure you can talk about wanting to win and being physical, but in this day and age these kind of plays aren't meant to be allowed in the NBA.

You can talk about "hard fouls" but neither of them were plays on the ball. If he doesn't get suspended and the C's keep rolling through that'll be total bull****..

At least the big fella upstairs decided the NBA refs didn't make good calls on Rondo and rewarded him with a 4/17 shooting night, not to mention being destroyed by Derrick Rose, and I'm not just talking about the last play.

holy ****, what a game. one of the all time classic playoff games. and after that its gotta be said one of the all time great first round series, if not all time great series overall!!! me and my mate were jumping around the office like madmen after every play lol i was rooting for the celtics, him the bulls...

hey, if anyone is going to get this entire series on DVD (either through pontel or some other means), PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE HOOK ME UP, ill buy or trade cards whatever, i just gotta watch this series in its entirety, and hopefully game 7 turns into another absolute classic.

Ray, what a monster game, who thought the old bugger had it left in him...

An amazing series.

the block by rose was HUGE, if you notice he kind of takes a step and then elevates, which means he takes off after Rondo and was still able to get the block.

I know Ainge has said no Garnett for the playoffs - but who thinks he will back for tomorrows game?

I actually read somewhere that he was a small chance to make an appearance, but they were unsure if they were willing to risk him incase they needed him further in. They gotta make it that far first.

can anybody say... willis reed : )

On that note lol

take from Ainge: Don't expect KG return - Celtics Blog - Boston.com

Don't expect the Celtics to have a Willis Reed moment in Game 7 tomorrow night.
Kevin Garnett will not only not be available tomorrow but is done for the season, according to Celtics president Danny Ainge. Ainge said in a text message early this morning that the injured All-Star will not be returning for the rest of the playoffs.

"I'm not planning on him the rest of the season," said Ainge.

Ainge's comments this morning are consistent with the Celtics' stance on Garnett's status since April 16, when coach Doc Rivers announced that the one-time NBA Most Valuable Player, who injured his knee Feb. 19 at Utah and has been in limbo since, would miss the team's first-round series against the Bulls and very likely wouldn't play at all in the postseason.

"Yes, he's out," coach Doc Rivers said at the time. "I feel for the season, but we just don't know yet."

A strain to the popliteus tendon, which sits at the back of the knee, has affected Garnett's ability to return. The tendon strain must heal naturally, and has taken longer than anticipated. Garnett will likely have offseason surgery on his right knee to remove a bone spur.

Garnett, a 12-time All-Star and reigning Defensive Player of the Year, averaged 15.8 and 8.5 rebounds per game during the regular season. The Celtics have noticeably missed his defensive presence and interior passing skills during this series against the energetic young Bulls.

Garnett missed the final nine games of the regular season and 22 of the final 26 games overall before the playoffs since injuring the knee. He has continued to receive treatment in the slim hopes that he would be able to return at some point.

During this series, he has occasionally tutored fellow big men Kendrick Perkins and Glen Davis during practices and shootarounds and also been seen taking jump shots, but he still is moving gingerly. He has sat on the Celtics' bench during games in street clothes. In the past, he has chosen to watch from the locker room rather than the bench when he is injured because it frustrates him to not be able to contribute.

Garnett will have surgery on the knee after the playoffs end, but the date has not been set, leading to speculation that he may try to play should the Celtics advance in the postseason.

Well if the Celtics don't win tomorrow the league will be dissapointed.

They are doing their best to help the Celts get back to the finals judging by todays none penalty imposed on Rondo, he didn't even cop a fine or an upgrade of the foul yet alone a suspension.

And he did exactly the same thing Dwight did.

Man the Celtics thread is hot right now and nothing from Chad! I wonder if he'll be vocal before or after the Celtics win tomorrow...

But then again, what if they lose? :-k
