On the face of it, I feel that they have missed a trick. Some excellent sets, designs look top notch but a low end set based on a couple of players is different. If they had included rep teams in the Crystal Collection that would have been a bit better but I think that these could have been a set via redemption like the WIL from 14 Elite

It would of been good to see them in their rep jumpers but then I guess we are assuming they are all from their club, and we may be surprised they may still appear, but I do like the concept. I would be annoyed if I was a cam smith collector thi

I don't think it is much different from other Elite releases.

Impact 1:6
Crystal 1:8
Captains 1:24

This is the same as previous Elite releases although sometimes the middle insert has been 1:12

The real issue will be if there are dud boxes again. I copped two of those last year, killers!!!
 
Yeah JT and Lewis are the crystal collection in boxes

Smith is the crystal collection as a case card /30 I think and the All Stars are box cards
 
The parellel of the all stars I just hope it doesn't go down the same price as the run and guns . I'm getting a case this release. So would be annoyed if it had a few of them and none of jersey or sigs

Looking at the production run I think you will get 1 maybe 2 in a case.

The Run n Gun parallels were over three times the production run of the AS parallels. In saying that the player selection is hit and miss.

True, though it'll be interesting to see how they are numbers and so on. The World Cup parellels still hold value and they ain't numbered surprisingly

Except the Crystals and All Stars don't represent all teams so for some this is a very different release to others. Some teams are losing the two 1:12s? and two 1:72? For some teams ;) that is on top of not having a Dynamic Duo, Legends Sig, Road to the Finals jersey/sig and having a double up signature in Traders/Powerplay

Yep to have 2 Cowboys and to have 1 of them JT / repeat McLean who has a jersey card / Jack Bird on top of Lewis Crystal thing just seems they didn't think it through again. There's a chance to increase the cards for those clubs under represented in this release.

I know I have already said this before but the Crystal card is a concept I can't get my head around I think they should have stuck to the two card per team subsets they did have in the earlier Elite releases like;
  • Master / Apprentice
  • Run / Gun
  • Club Champion
Although 1 positive without chasing mojos this is an easy complete for me.

as a dragons fan,not to impressed with the auto,s.i think i will have to buy the bevan french auto.i have always been a big fan of nathan blacklock,and he reminds me of him.would love to get a auto of nathan but that will never happen.
 
I like the All-Stars, based on the images of them in-hand we've seen I'm a fan of the design. However they could've picked better players in terms of team distribution. Thurston was a must anyway, he was captain and Man of the Match but we didn't need a 2nd cowboys player and players from sharks and storm when the set is already insert heavy towards those teams.
