I want to but I won't have the funds available early enough. Besides, I still like picking up loose packs from the local newsagent anyway and i want to know which ones will have them
 
I'm looking at collecting this year NRL for the first time as I usually do AFL. I was looking through all the older case breaks on here from 2016 series.
Does each boxs have the potential to have a higher end card? As in each case break of 10 boxes there was always 10 higher end card or are some boxes loaded? Sorry for such a nieave question.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good question and it depends what you mean by higher end card, the Captain card is a 1 in 24 pack card and it will most likely be a guarantee in every box but to me that is not a higher end card. Do we know how many cases are being released and has anyone worked out the ratios based on that?

I haven't busted a box for a while but from cases breaks I have been in I think their has been the odd dud box in a case but the dealers cases have always had at least the correct ratio ( meaning the odd box had multiples) with I think it was 2015 having some loaded cases that beat the odds big time.

640 case production run I think. No guarantee of a hit per box, most cases seem to have 1-2 dud boxes. This was the case in 13 & 15 Elite also, only 14 Elite seemed to consistently have a hit per box. If you are looking at buying a box go through a dealers case share, much better chance at a big hit.

Mid-High end I would consider /130 cards
Will wait for a Melbourne Storm spot to open up for a group case break, given I'm a die hard Storm fan since they started in the comp.

Looking back at how terrible the World All Stars team was this year, I guess it's not so surprising that Mead got a run in this set.
 
Times for some rough Maths all figures are approx and rounded off

640 cases = 6400 boxes

Young Gun 16 x 130 = 2080 means 1 in every 3 boxes
League sensations 16 x 130 = 2080 means 1 in every 3 boxes
Road to Finals Jersey 3 x 150 = 450 means 1 in every 14 boxes
Road to Finals Jersey Signature 3 x 50 = 150 means 1 in every 43 boxes
Road to Finals Jersey Double 2 x 75 = 150 means 1 in every 43 boxes
All Star Parallel 10 x 100 = 1000 means 1 in every 6.4 boxes (Thanks Warren)
Mojo Ruby 16 X 40 = 640 means 1 in every 10 boxes (your team in every 160 boxes)
Mojo Saphire 16 X 20 = 320 means 1 in every 20 boxes (your team in every 320 boxes)
Mojo Emerald 16 X 10 = 160 means 1 in every 40 boxes (your team in every 640 boxes)
Dally M Ribbon = 260 means 1 in every 25 boxes

Don't think many collectors are that are from the teams that ain't featured.

Good luck to the team collector that will feature in the case cards, 15 cards limited to 30. Even at $40 a card that's going to be $600 out of the pocket. Then add the mojos, LS signature, yg signature and any other cards that they have.

Going to need some seriously deep pockets or eat a lot of 2 minute noodles going forward

Unless things have changed this year , there was only 630 cases last year ( 6300 boxes )....

As for the All Star Parallel they should be 1 per 6.3 boxes with some cases having 2 ....6300 boxes with 1000 all stars .....

Will be very interesting to see how the inserts fall this year in the cases .....
 
I think it has been said for all Elite releases production run is 6400 boxes but 100 of those are used for promotional purposes (used to be used for album packs as well but there's no more of those)

Yep my bad 1 All Star per 6.3 or 6.4 boxes missed my decimal point.
