Thunder to re-sign sharpshooter Daequan Cook to a two-year, $7.5 million deal, source tells @YahooSports.

=D>=D>=D>

Very happy we resigned him..... he was critical for us in spurts in the playoffs last season! Hope to see more of that from him!

Can't wait to see the Thunder in action this season.. Should be close to the top if not on top of the West... Such a young team that are still so level headed! They would only be a small piece away from a ring in the next couple of years!

Yeah Daequan Cook Isn't a bad guy to have on OKC ... I live In Tulsa, (Oklahoma people LOVE the Thunder) gettin EVERYONE OKC stuff for Christmas this year ... OKC Shirts, Hoodies, Blankets etc.

Durant WILL BE MVP this season ... 100% ... He's becoming / became a baddddddd man.

Thunder got that NEEDED experience with going against LA, then Memphis AND Dallas ... oh man, look out !!!

THUNDER VIDEO: Day 3 Review: Kendrick Perkins

Man Perk looks good!

Good game by OKC. However Westbrook up to his ball-handling, play-forcing ways again. Durant was great (missed a few uncharacteristic free throws though), Harden was fantastic. Everyone else was great too, contributing here and there and really great to see the whole team pretty much gel as if there was no lockout. Disappointing to see my boy Ibaka not register in the points though :(

harden played well in the 2nd quarter to provide some needed scoring off the bench, albeit the FT line.. maynor also shot well from 3PT land.
durant without much notice had 30. easy to see why he's the reigning scoring champ.

away @ t-wolves today. interested to see rubio go round.

Well...... it had to come some time and now we have got it out of the way; our first loss of the season.

TBH I thought we looked a little flat out there; KD really didn't seem himself either and of course the loss of Cook and Thabo (for the majority of the game) hurt us a lot seeing as we had to play two inexperienced guys. Bloody Jackson was jacking up 3's all over the place...... if I was Brooks I woulda pulled him right after that last three he took.

i didnt see yesterdays game v dallas.

about to watch my boy make a start in place of the injured thabo. cook also questionable, so he may not get as many minutes as he usually does..

POST GAME THOUGHTS.

[hide]harden played well for OKC in his first start this season as they went down to portland by 10, scoring 23.
i feel they were just frustrated by portland as they made a few clutch shots at key times.
batum hit a couple of 3's at bad times. we led till about 1/2 time, then portland took over.
aldridge had 30.

westy and durant struggled a little with the shot.

few days off beofre a home game v rockets. should come back nicely after 2 days off.
