The OFFICIAL 2009 AFL Finals Thread!

Yeah. But I'd rather not sit in the cheer squad, they just really annoy me for some reason. :p But I guess I have a better chance of getting on telly now! :D  :p

Just saw the outs for Brisbane, ouch, Carltank might actually win now. Hope not. Geelong still for me for premiers.

I recon the crows are a good outside chance, Cats and the saints have shown weakness
towards the end of the year. The Crows seem to be finding some excellent form.

Agreed...however to get over the line they have to get it done at the G multiple times. Can that be done?

Too true, But Craigs finals record is not great. Bulldogs and Saints have few injuries too. Should be great.

when will Lenny Hayes be back guys? Do you guys see the announced AFL All Australian Squad for 2009?

The 21 players coming from Geelong, St Kilda and Collingwood are: Corey Enright, Matthew Scarlett, Gary Ablett, Jimmy Bartel, Steve Johnson, Andrew Mackie, Joel Selwood and Paul Chapman (Geelong); Nick Dal Santo, Lenny Hayes, Nick Riewoldt, Sam Gilbert, Brendon Goddard, Leigh Montagna and Stephen Milne (St Kilda) and Alan Didak, Nick Maxwell, Simon Prestigiacomo, Scott Pendlebury, Leon Davis and Dane Swan (Collingwood).

Good game that will be I still like the Crows, who ever they play. How's the runner for Adelaide in the first quarter? Talk about nearly being sacked.

Well let's hope the rest of the series is not like last night.

The Bombers suprised alot of people including myself this year but not to the extent of Adelaide. They deserve a night off from training this week because last night was just a training drill, but something tells me Essendon will be back bigger and better next year especially after watching the Round 22 match against Hawthorn. I thought I was Marty McFly in Back To The Future after watching that, it took me back to the classic 80's.

I think we'll be treated to an amazing game when the Saints & Magpies play because neither side will want to match up against Adelaide even in Melbourne.

Good Luck if your team is still fighting for the flag.:v:
