Just received this message from Tap n Play ...

Dear Tap'N'Play Customers and Resellers,

I took the decision today to delay the launch of the BBL & CA series by a few weeks due to issues with the print quality of some of the cards, particularly in the glazing.

I appreciate this is disappointing for our customers, but not as disappointing as it would be if we gave our distributors and customers a compromised set. Every card has to be perfect to meet our quality standards.

Put simply, the locally manufactured printed sheets were not of the same quality as last year's Cricket set.

It is my vision over the longer term, for Tap'N'Play to build a legacy of exceptional trading card sets and therefore the quality of both our card designs and the end product can not be compromised by poor trades work.

I have taken the decision to reprint ALL the Cricket cards through a specialist Victorian manufacturer of trading cards.

Due to the FFA & HAL set being delayed with player negotiations, they are not affected and will be a wonderful, high quality set as well.

We are aiming for the delay to be minimal, but are working through the timelines with the printers as we speak and will keep you posted over the coming days.

My sincere apologies to ALL - but I can assure you the Cricket product (when released) will be first class.

That's a little disappointing. Was so looking forward to being able to maybe pick up some of this at the Brisbane Show in a little over a week. But, at least it gives me a little more time to save for hopefully more boxes.
So, now that they are being printed in Australia, will the price change, or is the price going up?

They were always being printed in Australia. Tap N Play don't print in China, ESP and Select do.
