2012-13 Panini Brilliance - Another cool looking set this one with a foil and embossed finish. The backgrounds on the base cards look very similar to Origins. Panini used to have so much more creativity in their products than what they have today i think.

2012-13 Panini Marquee - Awesome looking set this one. Thick card stock like Recon with foil, die-cuts and acetates! Once again, why did they stop making this? This is heaps better than Recon!

2013-14 Panini Pinnacle - Another cool looking low-end set here that i would have loved to collect with nice looking foil inserts. I would say the "Bang" insert would be my favourite here so pretty stoked it's another PC card!

2015-16 Panini Prizm - Much better design this one. Either the Josh Smith is a RC or i didn't get any. If it is, why did they do away with the RC logo? Very odd!

2017-18 Panini Status - Pretty average looking set this. The Lonzo is an "aqua parallel". Wasn't expecting to get an auto but it's the wrong Celtic!

I look at this Status set whilst remembering those sets from the 2012-13 season and wonder how Panini could go this far backwards? And i think the answer is that these sets are so much cheaper to produce. There's less artwork involved and less technology. Simple! But sad at the same time.
