Suggestions to Select!

Terrific job Dan, well done. I can only pray they listen to the people who buy their product.

I can't help but think that Select think of producing cricket cards as a series they feel obliged to do between football seasons rather than one they feel passionate and excited about releasing. If sales have declined over the past few seasons i hope they put this down to not having delivered a quality and sought-after product and not that general marketplace interest is low.

My Pleasure mate!

I have just bowled them a juicy half volley! Lets see if they play and miss (again) or slog sweep it over the midwicket fence for 6!

Game On!

Damn it! too late lol:lol: but anyways this is what I was gonna say:) I absolutely agree with Matt (Matt26) Autos on wood or cricket ball is genius:) Select, please bring in game used jersey cards. But the Ball and Wood autos are a must:thumbsup:

As Richie might say, a marvellous effort indeed! As for the schooner Ron I think we should pitch in and get the man a jug! Well done, very humble and well articulated -

maybe could have included a post script "If you fell that these suggestions have been helpful and you would like to use our ideas, and then profit from them, please forward a case to my address and I will distribute them amongst the people who have contributed their ideas, and we can happily sample it for you"

Following on from the commentary team idea, they could have Richie Benaud Commentary Used Jacket cards. They could start with the more common bone, and then limited on various scales to the biege and the off-white:D

He He He He! nice one like that one too!

As for the free case, well it is the least they could do! But if i get a job on the marketing/production team at select i will remember those who got me there!

Lets hope they take something on board!

Thanks guys

I forgot too mention their cricket folders!

They should be more like the NRL and AFL ones, or better yet, like the 08 NRL centenary folder - the centenary folder was awesome, I would be prepared to pay the premium

ive noticed that too. And an nice zipped soft AFL album costs 20 bucks with 2 packs plus a cousins card.

A standard file with a 2008-09 select cricket flyer in it also costs $20

ur joking!!!!! I picked it up at the start of the series for a total of $38 with the album and he chucked in some extra sleeves and the promo cards
