does FINALS mvp count???????
dont get me wrong i think nash has been a good player but he is not in the category of great pg's.
Nash is 38... In his prime he was better then Parker in his prime, which is now.... Period...! 2 MVP's proves that!
Nash see's the court and his teammates like no other player in the league in the last 15 + years.......
Nash has got all his numbers and achievements with very, very little around him..... Amare being the only real big time player in his prime that Nash was teamed with.... An aging Grant Hill and Shaq do not count!
Parker has had his whole career with people like Manu, Duncan and Robinson for a little while if I remember correctly, which I probably don't. Not to mention pop coaching......
At 38 I'd still have Nash as my Floor general, unless I had players like Griffen, DeAndre Jordan, Dwight Howard etc etc around me... Geeze, even add Timmy D to that list! Nash has done everything himself or very, very close to it, Spurs have always, in parkers career, been a excellent TEAM UNIT, well coached and just have always found a way to gel! Nash has had to put up with a revolving door and even at 38 still gets absolutely great numbers.
Parker over Nash right now, of course... Nash over Parker in his prime without a doubt!!!!! And you'll find 99.9% of Non Spur NBA fans will agree with that.
Also, don't get me wrong, TP9 is a great player and has more to offer, but Nash is a 2 Time MVP for a reason.....
Who does Nash get to Pass to?
Who does Parker get to Pass to?
Nash is definitely in the Best PG categories hands down
and lets not forget that Nash probably should of had the MVP 3 years running...
