Hey all,

Given that he is done and dusted in Phoenix, Ive been thinking about the best possible destinations for Steve Nash and New York seems like a good spot. He has plenty in the tank still and I know he can be of real value...Amare knows what its like to play with Nash and had his best years alongside him, Melo would be better for it along with Chandler who is a beast, need to keep Landry Fields, Steve Novak and Jeremy Lin (re-sign him of course) are good shooters and would benefit greatly from having Nash around, keep JR Smith around as he's been good for them with his energy and unpredictability, Shumpert i like as well. Bibby needs to go, along with B-Diddy, Jeffries and some of the other bench players they have - they need some size as they dont currently have any at all... then the clincher would be to get Phil Jackson back to NYC to coach them for 4/5 years and see what he can do with them

The main issue for Nash will be him wanting to be on a team that is basically a contender already, so unsure if it becomes a reality

Money has never been an object for James Dolan so why the hell not?? I reckon the NBA is a better place when the Knicks are going well... Thoughts?

I got a feeling if the Heat don't win it all Nash will end up there, otherwise look for ATL or LAL make a play for him!

Let him fill in at the bulls till Derrick Rose comes back then shift Rose to SG. That or Orlando?

AT first i was like WTF!!!??? Then thinking about it, it's actually a lot better then it sounds at first glance! Would allow Rose to just be a pure scorer and lead by example and having someone like Nash feeding, Boozer, Noah, Taj and co would just be an offensive dream fir the Bulls.....

Having said all that Miami or NYK would have to be the front runners, surely?

He could be the missing piece Orlando need to become consistant and make a serious run at a championship, Miami shouldnt need him to win one, maybe he could go to Boston or San Antonio where all the players go to retire?

nah i dont think orlando... they just dont have enough weapons, especially their bench - not sure how the hell they beat the pacers the other day without dwight

also given that dwight is most likely outta there it would make sense for nash to do to a rebuilding team

Orlando or Atlanta imo are the 2 teams that just need someone like Nash to give them the final push!

BTW, who is that 5 spots above the Spurs?? ;)

Please, your telling me Nash is on the same page as tony Parker, I think not. There are guys who can accumulate numbers and there are guys who can win you titles. I think Nash has been a good player but I just don't think he is as good as some people think.

Wherever he goes I'll be sad to see him leave Phoenix, and now is the time that trading Dragic will come back to haunt the suns. Don't blame him though the Suns just couldn't keep a core group together to build over time, they are way to trade happy an wasted time with trades like Carter. At least we still have some young talent like Morris but I think it's downhill from here, Ah well back to the bottom we go....
