Hey all,
Given that he is done and dusted in Phoenix, Ive been thinking about the best possible destinations for Steve Nash and New York seems like a good spot. He has plenty in the tank still and I know he can be of real value...Amare knows what its like to play with Nash and had his best years alongside him, Melo would be better for it along with Chandler who is a beast, need to keep Landry Fields, Steve Novak and Jeremy Lin (re-sign him of course) are good shooters and would benefit greatly from having Nash around, keep JR Smith around as he's been good for them with his energy and unpredictability, Shumpert i like as well. Bibby needs to go, along with B-Diddy, Jeffries and some of the other bench players they have - they need some size as they dont currently have any at all... then the clincher would be to get Phil Jackson back to NYC to coach them for 4/5 years and see what he can do with them
The main issue for Nash will be him wanting to be on a team that is basically a contender already, so unsure if it becomes a reality
Money has never been an object for James Dolan so why the hell not?? I reckon the NBA is a better place when the Knicks are going well... Thoughts?
