Been home about 1/2 an hour after watching the game at a mate's place, I am so pissed off that the Blues couldn't even get anywhere near the 50/50 calls by the refs that are supposed to even up the game, it wasn't even 40/60.
Paul Gallen is still knocking on the ref's door to get an explanation for 2 points from a penalty while Tony Williams must be still wondering where his arms are supposed to go when Cooper Cronks head falls into them.
Not to mention how a few Maroons forward passes failed to be picked up and I'm still scratching my head how on at least 2 occaisions Qld got the scrum feed when they knocked the ball on while defending.................

Gee you NSW sooks are clutching at straws. For starters it should've been 2 - 0 to QLD in the first few mins when Farrah was holding down (Inglis I think). Instead you guys get the ball back and work it down for exactly the same penalty right in front we should've got.

Tate was only retaliating to the EXACT same treatment he copped with the elbow to the eye socket. He could've punched ALOT harder but did'nt.

There was 2 soft penalties we got in a row on Luke Lewis and someone else, but they were clearly make up calls as NSW were winning the refs calls.

Then, WTF was that knock on call on Matt Scott which clearly went straight back???? Ended up giving you points.

Ricky Stuart is a scumbag with no class, look at big Mal. He's been called every name under the sun by the Southerners yet keeps a smile on his face.

7 in a row to a deserved bunch of footballers. I admit, I was not confident going in to the game. But again, NSW showed by their poor discipline and thug attitude that that's not how to win. All their cheap shots did'nt work. Tim Grant got away with murder.

I really don't understand why NSW talk crap in the lead up. All it does is fire up QLD. I reckon they may just keep things quiet next year.

In all, what an amazing series. I did think it was NSW time, because they were desperate. You look down the NSW teamsheet and when you rate every player except Ben "the cat" Creagh then you know it's gonna be tough.

Also, I should add, I really do feel for Farrah. He lost his Mum a few weeks ago and then to come up with that mistake is terrible. He would not be feeling good at all.

But, are you guys serious that wanted a bail out on that call???? You wanted a weak arse penalty where he might've gone out???

Then he made the mistake. He dropped the ball cold.

What is funny and sad at the same time is watching NSWs and QLDers going at each other when the truth is that VICTORIA has the best NRL players.

cry cry cry.... The game was a cracker and the best team won once again....NSW were the better team in game 2 and Qld were i think by far the better in game 3

Good luck to you QLD. Your a good side - what else can be said. Dont get too cocky over a 1 point win though.

I just hope both side put a stop to the recruitment of non NSW and QLD players. It is diluting why the match was set up for in the first place.

Will say one thing, even though I love watching QLD win, the crowd booing and jeering when NSW was introduced AFTER the game demonstrated everything wrong with being a sports fan these days.

I don't think anyone is getting cocky over a 1 point win. I do think however there is some cockiness about 7 years of WINNING

You are right abouth the recruitment stuff. I enjoy the genuine hatred between these guys when they are actually from NSW or QLD. There is still some great battles out there, but it's not like it used to be.

Myles vs Bird has been great this series.
