haha.. i have enough dvds to watch and spend time on realgm.com/espn.com/nba.com etc reading things.. they clearly outscore teams.. they dont hold teams to ridiculous low scoring like the spurs/pistons do. they're 16th in the league for points scored against.. allowing 96.9 ppg while scoring 104.0 .. you look at the remaining 14 teams and you'll see the reason why they're below phoenix, cos they are pretty avg or poor teams.. they'll give up more with amare back, but you watch their ppg increase.. its a known fact..
how about we not argue on this one and watch how it pans out come playoff time.. you know the spurs will play their game come the playoffs.. they'll play their low scoring defensive game.. sure the suns are a better team, but we all know dan the man antoni will cut the rotation down come playoffs..

you also got to understand the spurs are now starting and getting more out of nesta, who was cut out of the big man rotation last year after his injury, nazr is off the bench, big shot bob loves playing in the playoffs and against the sun, finley wont stay quiet forever, duncan will have 2 healthy ankles to play on, parkers numbers are up big time and bowen will clamp up the rest... sure they lost today, but playoff time is a different story.. especially against the raining champs
saying that both teams are deeper.. spurs will have the edge..
