*SPOILERS* Official NBL 2012/13 Season Thread

i liked Gill :) thought he was alright!

Yeah I liked Gill as well, he was a really solid PG, will be pretty tough to replace. Speaking of tough to replace, Breakers will definitely miss Wilkinson next season. As a Wildcats fan (and season member again now that they are back in Perth City) I think Wildcats stand great chance of getting back to Finals again this year, and hopefully we can go one better this coming season.

Agree there mate, I think the 36ers look good this season with a couple of handy pickups they look like a real threat. I cant wait to see the first game in the arena and beers after the game lol. the first game is the night before myself getting hitched, im too a member of the mighty wildcats for six years now and hopefully we have a injury free run this year and give it a good shake!
Go The Cats!

Perth better add a nice import.. so sick of their squad, boring imo... il be goin to some games at the new Perth Arena though.. mainly for the opp teams with some decent players/imports.

The Wildcats have signed their full squad mate. They might not have any flashy players, but being in the top 2 for the last 3 seasons is better than having flashy imports and missing the playoffs.

Agreed. Oh and last season, you didnt have to be a flashy import to be the NBL Season MVP - Exhibit A: MVP Kevin Lisch, Perth Wildcats.

Yeah but the league needs that to start goin places again, look at the nineties! had both great aussie players and exciting imports.. NBL is boring has been for years imo.. Although i still watch a bit as i love the game and can learn something all the time.

Fair enough mate, you are entitled to an opinion, but the facts are that crowd figures have been rising for 3 straight seasons, there will be more games on TV again next season and they have good ratings and several teams have seen a growth in memberships.

Last week I heard a rumour Braswell was coming to Melbourne. Pretty happy with getting him.
Overall, I think we've put together a decent team. Go Tigers!

Adelaide has 2 spots left and no imports signed yet, although they only have room in the points cap for 1 import.

Cairns has 2 spots left and 1 import signed.

New Zealand has 1 spot left and has 2 imports signed.

Wollongong has 3 spots left and no imports signed yet.

Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Townsville have all completed their rosters.
