Objectively describing the situation and asking for opinions on whether my position was justified or petty is hardly a 'pot shot'. This is a forum after all. People should feel confident to document their experiences, good, bad or otherwise.

It was a tactful response from SMC though.
 
My next shipment from SMC is scaring the daylights out of me... Basically it's about 120 or so loose packs so i have no idea what to expect.

The only issue i have had with SMC is the incorrect/ inconsistent charging of fees from time to time which i can only put down to a lack of staff knowledge. i.e. I got charged $10 for 1 pack of 95-96 Flair because the person processing it must have thought it was a "box"! 😂

It's not really a problem though because on the odd occasion this happens, it is usually resolved pretty quickly by helpdesk after raising a ticket.
 
For my first shipment I just got hit with a $200 customs/border fee even though I kept the number of cards under $1000 value. Looks like the exchange rate changed between buying the cards and shipping them. Pretty disappointed because now the whole thing cost me way more than just buying in oz.

How long have these shipments been taking from when you request the shipment invoice to actually arriving?

I'm waiting on some things to arrive, then I want to ship so I have some inventory for the Hobby Hang out in Melbourne which is Feb 20.

What type of shipment? Large or a small one?

I requested a large one and 5 days later i got the invoice. It arrived anther 4 days after that

Sounds large. I think over 5 items is large...could be wrong.

My shipping was as follows:

TOTAL:$183.30
